This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Perry Hall/White Marsh area. I like this place for their quick, smooth and easy take out or delivery. The food is delicious, they match the spice level you want. I highly recommend the Baigan Bartha and Garlic Naan! The interior of the place is relaxing and well organized and clean.

Ordered the butter chicken lv 6 & cheese naan. The cheese naan was way too oily for my personal liking, but still pretty decent. The level 6 has just enough kick to not be spicy and still maintain its flavor.Customer service was good. Very easy to over the phone.

The food was amazing. It was myself and my girlfriend's first time having Indian food. We ordered the food thru Uber Eats and we had Butter Chicken and garlic naan. Even though we weren't able to experience the service and ambiance in person but, the deliciousness of the food we had definitely made us want to order more food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The family came in for the lunch buffet and we were very excited to find all of our regular favorites and everything was delicious! The tandoori chicken wasn't at all dry or tasteless (as it can be prone to be), it was wonderful! They had chicken chilli, my husbands favorite and the spice levels of everything were good. We've been to other buffets that were so spicy the kids couldn't enjoy anything. The kids enjoyed the Tikka masala, pakora and samosas especially. Oh, and the naan was a big hit, extra buttery. The interior appears to have had a "dress down" but it's still nice and I think we'll be returning for a dinner to check out the other menu items.

I can't believe I haven't written a review of the Taste of Taj earlier! I must have been trying to keep this place a secret!This is one of my favorite spots to eat, all of the food is well seasoned and has so many flavors! They have a unique tastes to all of their food that the other similar spots in the county don't. They even let you choose your adventure of spiciness on a numeric scale. Highly recommend coming here to eat!

I really wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately I was severely disappointed. I ordered lamb masala and garlic naan online for a 6pm pickup time. I showed up at 6:05 and the woman at the front said the food wasn't ready yet. That was perfectly understandable to me, so I waited in the lobby. Time ticks away and multiple employees come out to ask what the name on my order was and I told them repeatedly.One of the employees said that the kitchen was backed up, which seemed odd because there were only two customers dining in and no one else waiting for pickup. While I'm waiting, I see a server repeatedly bring the wrong food to the two tables of customers. The server seemed very disorganized and had no clue what he was serving. Finally around 6:40 my food was brought out and I barely even received an "I'm sorry for your wait."When I got the food home, I was ready to forget the poor service and enjoy my meal. I stuck a fork into a chunk of lamb and heard the tap of something hard inside the lamb. Upon investigation, there were large, sometimes sharp bones all throughout my lamb. I had to go through and hand pick all the bones out before I could even eat. I've never had bones in a lamb masala before from anywhere else. Between the poor service and the bones in the lamb, I would strongly recommend you try another Indian restaurant that respects and values you more as a customer.

Get the lamb chop masala!! It's mind-blowingly delicious!!Introduced my 70-year-old mother to Indian food this week, and I think it was the first time I sent her home with my leftovers, instead of the other way around. She LOVED the chicken korma (which is my usual go-to). Butter chicken is legit, too.Service is super attentive and adorable.

Eh nan bread tasted like pancake batter but everything else was very good. Service & customer service was very well the lady was helpful so to me being on the go I had to run in and out. Definitely a place I would eat at if I had the chance again.

Ordered from here a couple of times for takeout, and WOW! This place is delicious. I've always ordered my usual, Dal Makhani, and it tastes amazing. I also love how you can choose your level of spiciness on a scale of 1-9. The naan is delectable as well as the samosas. They give you good sized portions - you will almost certainly have leftovers the next day. The service has been great - our ordered have been prepared in a timely manner and everything has always been correct. I hope at some point in the future we will have the opportunity to eat at the restaurant, but it looks nice from the outside. We will definitely continue to order from here when I visit Maryland.
