Yummy in my tummy. This hidden gem brought pure joy once I tasted my oxtail dinner, bursting with flavor and just enough spice. When you ask for extra gravy, they give you extra gravy . They have good variety of food on the menu, and I'm anxious to try more. I've found a new favorite whenever I'm in the Baltimore area.

Just save your money ok. I ordered escovitch fish. How do you just give me a piece of dry overcooked fish!? Not an onion or carrot in sight! I selected rice and peas as one of the sides. They gave me plain white rice. The rice wouldn't have been so bad if they gave me the right fish! The party was dry as the Sahara and the coco bread was hard. Smh.

First time trying this place, I'm still new to Caribbean food however this was so good! Very filling and worth the price. It is a large serving so I wasn't able to finish but I am looking forward to eating the rest later!

Finally I found a authentic Jamaican restaurant. The food was delicious. Restaurant was very crowded, long wait. They have variety of juices. Parking is ok. Customer service was excellent!

Yesterday was my first time trying Tashes Ankh and I was not disappointed! The location has ample parking right off of liberty road across the street from the library. They just moved into the space a year ago and it was very clean and also now allows a place for customers to eat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating both in person and also on the phone when we placed our orders in. We opted for the oxtails, with rice and beans and cabbage, the jerk chicken ( large) with rice and beans and cabbage, the beef patty, fried plantain,Sorrell, and pineapple and ginger drink. Everything came to about 70 something ish dollars which at first I felt was a little high but the servings are very large ! The beef patty was good but could have had a little more flavor and a little warmer. The oxtail was so tasty but the star of the show was the rice and beans for me! Omg I could eat them all day haha! The jerk chicken was falling off the bone and also very juicy. I will say that a serving of the large could feed two people. I can't wait to go back and try more that they have to offer ! I'm counting down the time till lunch so I can have my oxtails haha

Tashes has not disappointed us since we have started going here! My wife is Jamaican and she enjoys it very much so it passes that test. The curry chicken is really good with big portions. Their curry goat is also very good. The beef patties are also great.

This is our favorite carribean restaurant. My wife and I just can't get enough of the brown stew or the oxtail. They always give you a lot of food for the price. The quality is there, it's authentic. The cashiers are always welcoming and let you know what's going on with your order. The paint on the wall makes it pretty bright inside and the few pictures they have hanging are really nice.

I've been looking for a really good Jamaican spot since I moved to this area. I think I've found it. The food is definitely authentic. And the lunch specials are a plus. The lunch specials comes with a canned soda or a bottle water. I wish the lunch specials came with plantains. You can add it for a dollar which I did. I can't wait to try the oxalis.

This is my go-to place for some bomb jerk chicken!! It's the right amount of spice with so much flavor coming from the chicken and jerk sauce. I'll never get tired of this place

This was the worst Jamaican food I have ever tasted in my life! Worst experience as well. The customer service was horrible in which I was not forewarned that the platter I was going to get would take 40 minutes. What should have been 40 minutes, took an hour! Then when I received the food, it was cold. I had to take it back to get hot food. So when I got the hot food, the rice was hard and dry, no flavor, the cabbage was undercooked and raw. The stuffed snapper had no flavor/seasoning and the peppers and vegetables were raw. I waited an hour for food that was not edible at all! I paid 36.00 for this horrible mess of food! To top it all off, my shrimp was raw! How do you serve raw shrimp! This is the worst experience I have ever had. I do not recommend. I would give this place negative stars if I could! Please do not eat here! Ever!
