This Mexican restaurant came highly endorsed by my Mexican co-worker, who complained that most "Mexican" places are actually owned by Central Americans. I don't know anything about authenticity where Latin food is concerned, but the food here is so amazing I can't stop telling people about it, especially since they moved recently -- their original location was a little divey, but the new / current space is cozy, charming and very clean. On the menu: first, their all-day breakfast options (huevos rancheros and chilaquiles, in particular) are not to be missed. The spicy shrimp are VERY spicy, which we loved, but be warned in case you do not. The chicken quesadilla is more interesting and well seasoned than any other version I've tried -- it's a legitimate meal for an adult, unlike the bland kids' menu option you normally find. Guacamole, their namesake dish, is fresh and flavorful. Even the chips are warm and solid enough to scoop with. The tortas are enormous, and really, so is everything here -- you get at least two servings out of every dish, which helps the price tag hurt a little less. You don't need me to tell you everything is expensive right now, but it's easier to rationalize paying for dinner and lunch at once!Takeout is a little slow because they're truly cooking from scratch -- so allow plenty of time if you're lucky enough to live close as I do. Pretty soon this will be your go-to Mexican place, just like it is for us.

The food was hot and excellent! We ordered the fajitas. I'm used to seeing pico de gallo and sour cream, but that was not included with the fajitas. The food was still very hot and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. The ambience was OK with lots of Mexican decorations on the wall. The tables and chairs also had a Mexican design. The location was a very small sliver inside a strip mall. The ambience wasn't as comfortable as some of the bigger standalone restaurants. this restaurant does not have an alcohol license so you could not get margarita.

YUM! Randomly happened upon this place while in town, and boy am I glad I did. Came for lunch with a party of 3 - got chips and salsa to start (so good), an order of enchiladas, chicken tacos, and asada tacos. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. I'm a California native, and this food compares to what we have here. A hidden gem and I'll definitely be coming back.

I've finally decided to check this place out, I wish I had taken notice sooner...what a gem in a nook! In a small strip center. The cutest, cozy, and warm restaurant/ take out. The chairs, tables, and boothes were painted in authentic art. The music was wonderful Spanish! I did take out for dinner. The menu has many different choices of Tacos, quesadillas, classic Spanish dishes, and more. I got THE CUBAN, and a HUGE REAL PINEAPPLE DRINK (LIKE A REFRESHER) , and and a watermelon popcicle. My taste buds said this is AUTHENTIC cooking! Authentic food, authentic taste. Authentic peeps. See my vibe. thank you El taqueria Guacamole for bring some diversity to CARROLL COUNTy with your great establishment. Muchas Gracias!!

Sharing the menu as of July 2022, because I had trouble finding it online. Also, when I was there the owner said they may be changing/updating the menu again soon. Love this spot though! You can walk in, order, and walk out with delicious, fresh food in less than 10 minutes. Great spot for quick, affordable, authentic food!

My husband and I ordered here for my birthday. I thought the food was great. We had the steak gringas, enchiladas, and churros. I would really like to try this location not as a to go but as a sit down if possible. Overall I would order from here again.

Horrible food and service. I do not understand how this place gets 4 stars. I had the supreme fajitas. Shrimp tasted old other meat was dry and barely had any seasoning. Side dishes were lacking. Just a disappointment. I have eaten fajitas all over the country and these were the worst I have ever had.
