Tapia's on Main is a gem for food and drink enthusiasts. My recent visit left me impressed with their culinary offerings, creative cocktails, outstanding service, and wonderful atmosphere. We came to celebrate my sister's birthday. Food: The dishes at Tapia's are delicious, offering a satisfying dining experience. We tried the calamari, which was very good, although we didn't take a picture. Food portions are good. We had some leftovers that we took home.Drinks: The drink menu is a highlight, featuring amazing cocktails that complement the food perfectly. Their regular margaritas are delicious, and the pomegranate martini is a must-try. A standout is their spicy margarita, which brings serious heat. While it's excellent for spice lovers, it might be too intense for those with milder palates. Consider yourself warned! We also enjoyed a Moscow Mule, which was good.Service: The service was amazing. Our server, Cecilia, provided excellent attention and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.Atmosphere: The ambiance was truly amazing. We dined during a beautiful sunset, with the temperature just right - not too hot, not too cold. It was slightly cloudy, and we were initially concerned about potential rain. However, the attentive staff, including our waiter, reassured us that if it did start to rain, they would have a table ready for us inside. This thoughtful preparation added to our comfort and enjoyment of the evening.Overall, Tapia's on Main is a great choice for those looking for flavorful food, innovative drinks, top-notch service, and a lovely atmosphere. With a variety of excellent cocktail options and a staff that goes above and beyond, it's a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience.

The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly and gave great recommendations for the menu. We sat on the patio and there were umbrellas for shade. The crab cake had a lot of meat and the crab dip had a very balanced flavor. Would definitely recommend those two items.

This restaurant is very good. I have been multiple times and will continue to go because Tapias on main is delicious if you go definitely try the avocado toast and pizza.

It was a perfect day to dine outside at this establishment. Our waitress was delightful. The Italian Panini and Turkey Club Panini were delicious and on point. Both came with shoestring fries which were perfectly fried and seasoned. I ate the whole side by myself and it wasn't even my order . We also got the white pizza with bacon, basil, jalapeños, and meatballs. It was so flavorful and just enough kick. The downside was that it was a little on the greasy side. Lastly, the baked rockfish. This was probably the disappointment of the day. Even though the lump crab meat was delicious, fish was a little on the fishy side. Overall a good experience.

Love love love this place. I love the outdoor seating. Service is always great here. Drinks and martinis are fantastic. The prices are just right and food flavorful. I will never turn down a trip to this resturaunt !

Tapia's on Main is a great restaurant in Middletown with good food, nice casual vibes, and clean and updated decor. There's even a great outdoor patio seating with heated lamps at night. During our visit, we first ordered the special appetizer for the evening the burrata and fresh tomatoes with crusty bread and it was delicious and fresh.For our entrees, I ordered the special for the evening crab topped ravioli with Alfredo sauce which was also delicious. My husband ordered the chicken pesto pizza and he thought it was lacking a little flavor but with a little bit of Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper it added more flavor. Although the nice touch is that the baked in brick oven so the crust comes out nice and thin. Then my mom ordered the frutti de Mari which is a fettuccini pasta with red sauce with mussels, scallops, clams and shrimp. It was definitely delicious and flavorful. Even the garlic bread and Caesar side salads we ordered were fresh. Definitely a nice place to visit and try when in the area or finding a nice romantic place to eat for a dinner for two or with a large family.

Oh my gosh I can't believe tapias doesn't have better reviews! First -the drinks are soooo bomb, avocado toast is amazing, salmon is always cooked perfectly and specials are off the charts. The staff is so friendly and outdoor seating in nice weather is the best. We love living close by and frequently are customers!

I'm a big fan of this restaurant for an upscale dinner in the area! They specialize in pizza and pasta dishes but they also have salad, burgers, crab cakes, and various meat and seafood options.My favorite dishes thus far have been the salmon imperial-- salmon, crab cakes, mashed potatoes, veggies, and imperial sauce YUM, seriously this one is worth it-- the gnocchi with seafood, and their pizzas!Don't miss out on a specialty cocktail either to round out the meal.On top of everything else, I really like the restaurant layout during covid-- it's large and if you go during off hours you can sit spaced far apart from others, and they have copious outdoor seating with heat lamps if you want to brave the cold!

I want to commend Amanda L. our waitress on Saturday September 28, 2024. From making our reservation of 14 people for lunch. I explained that my one brother was in a wheelchair, and my other brother had a prosthetic leg. She was able to aaccommodate all our requests and more.Our food was exceptional, our service was above and beyond our expectations. Amanda kept up with our dinning needs. She also took pictures of our family.I want to recommend Tapia's on Main in Middletown, MD.Amanda made our family get together a time to remember. The restaurant is extremely clean, including restrooms. I love this restaurant, and our new friend Amanda L.
