Take It Away

I work downtown and have tried at least a half dozen local delis. This one is right up there with quality, but for value, variety, and speed it can't be beat. I've tried their sandwiches (breakfast and lunch), salads, and bakery items. All have been good. This is my go-to takeout spot downtown.

The little deli is a hidden jem! Next time you have jury duty...skip the Halal cart and cross over Lexington to eat here! I've had 3 different breakfast sandwiches...all freshly made with thick eggs, real cheese and toasted bagels. I've had 4-5 different chicken sandwiches including the chicken salad, sweet chic and the californian. Fresh avocado, toasted bread, roasted turkey/chicken. Service is SUPeR friendly and really fast. On 2 occasions I've seen the owner give out free food/coffee and tell customers, 'dont worry about it, you can pay tomorrow.' It's a small place with only 2 out door tables so the name is quite fitting. There sandwich menu is large, over 40 options (!) and they let you substitute bread choices so make sure to ask what kind they have. I can't get enough of this place! Love it!

This little gem is a terrific place to get great food! It is open longer than other places around it for those days when work keeps you from your regular lunch hour. The owners are super friendly and will bend over backward to make sure you are satisfied. Service is always fast and efficient. The sandwiches are genergously stuffed and the salads are always fresh and crisp. I have been a customer for years and have had consistently delicious food each time I come here. Check them out, you will be glad you did!

Love this little place, super extensive menu and really good soups. Owner is super friendly.
