We went on a Tuesday night, and thank goodness we had a reservation. People were being turned away at 6:30pm...it was that packed. And with good reason, as I soon came to learn. You can tell that Tagliata is about the details. Even the free bread that you're greeted with is served with salted butter and generous bits of hard Parmesan to compliment it. The meatballs, lobster ravioli, truffle gnocchi were all *chefs kiss!*But the dish to write a poem about...the smoked duck. Words cannot express how much they knocked it out of the park. I wish I didn't agree to share it so that I could have enjoyed it to myself. The bomboloni were the perfect way to end the meal. I'm not a fan of Italian dessert, but this was so unique it will leave you feeling spiritually satisfied. Would love to return again next time I'm in Baltimore!

My husband and I recently had our first dine in experience at Tagliata. The restaurant entrance is through the gate and to the right. We had previously enjoyed happy hour here and loved the small plates offered on that menu so we decided to return for the full experience. We easily made our dinner reservations online. The restaurant closes after lunch at 2:30 PM and reopens for dinner at 4 PM, so we chose a 5 PM reservation. When we arrived, the bar was bustling with patrons, while the dining room had plenty of open tables...but that quickly changed within the next hour.I recommend that anyone with mobility limitations, who is tall, has long arms, elderly, or simply prefers more space, request a table with ample room. The booth we were seated at had a divider between us and another table, and the tables were so close together that my husband's elbow kept bumping into the person seated to his left. There was no way to adjust our table, as another one was right beside us.My husband is 6'2", and I wish the hostess had seated us at a table that better accommodated his size, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived. At 5'3" with an average build, even I had to squeeze between tables to reach my booth seat. When I got up to use the restroom, I had to turn sideways to exit, and I'm certain my backside was hovering over the food and table of the guests next to us....an experience that made me incredibly uncomfortable.Nevertheless, the food and drinks were outstanding. My husband said their take on an Old Fashioned was the best he's ever had. We ordered the pear bruschetta appetizer, a full portion of the squid ink campanelle, and the chicken Parmesan served with rigatoni.Pear bruschetta- Every bite was a perfect balance of flavors, with a harmonious mix of fresh, high quality ingredients that complemented each other beautifully.Squid ink Campanelle- was nothing short of extraordinary. The blend of textures from the noodles, bread crumbs, and seasonings created an explosion of taste that left me savoring every moment. And the crab was just *chef's kiss*. The full portion size allowed me to take home leftovers. Chicken Parmesan- My husband absolutely loved the dish and couldn't stop raving about how rich yet light the breaded chicken was. He is a chicken parm connoisseur so trust me when I say he's tried it in various restaurants all over the city. *Side note: The chicken parm doesn't come with noodles, so be sure to request your preferred pasta to complete your meal.Had it not been for the seating/lack of space issue, this would have been an easy five star review.

WOW. A contemporary Italian steakhouse with hand-cut, dry-aged steaks and fresh hand-rolled pastas. Baltimore never ceases to surprise and impress me. Tagliata is no exception and well worth the visit. We ordered the Cowboy Ribeye. Pricey? Yes. Dare I say it was one of best steaks I've ever had? Yes. Dry-aged 45 days, tender, flavorful, and served medium rare, this 18-ounce 18oz heritage prime ribeye is not broiled, but cooked like a steak should be: On a fire. Perfectly seasoned, it needs no condiments. As sides, we ordered roasted mushrooms with cipollini onions and thyme and fingerling potatoes with garlic and a touch of rosemary with a wonderfully crispy skin and soft interior.Did I mention they make a killer old fashioned? Yeah. Heaven.

I loved it more than I thought I would. Tagliata is an authentic Italian experience. From the amazing Polpette to the simple yet classic Rigatoni alla Vodka, it's a hit. Service was beyond incredible and the wine never stopped flowing. Honorable mention to the cocktail list but the wine list was superb. No matter where you are in the restaurant, you're guaranteed a fabulous time. I cannot wait to be back.

I've been to Tagliata a few times for happy hour and always enjoy their great deals, but this time I came for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Street parking is available but requires payment. We were seated right away, and lunch seemed less crowded than usual. The service was excellent, and the drinks were well-made. The small pasta portions were great for sharing between two people, and the Tuscan chicken appetizer was hot and crispy. The bread, served with whipped butter and fresh Parmesan, was a highlight--soft and fresh. While I recommend happy hour for better pricing, lunch was still a nice experience and worth the occasional splurge.

Came here for drinks after dinner. We sat at the bar. It was towards the end of the night so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted immediately by our bartender. He was so nice and very attentive. It was one of my friends birthday and he offered her a birthday shot and I think a slice of tiramisu with a candle. How sweet!?! Oh I forgot when he arrived the hostess complimented my friends dress and she told her it was her Birthday. The hostess gave her a birthday card. I thought that was a nice touch. I will definitely come back again. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I went to the bathroom and was greeted by some vomit all on the floor! Yuck! I told some employees when I left out and nobody moved to clean it up. lol! I get it, it was the end of the night. But dang! It smelled horrible.

Took my cousin to Tagliata to celebrate her birthday. The service was good per usual. The restaurant was packed and there was live music. The food was delicious. Their bread plate is great. We shared the meatballs with whipped ricotta as our appetizer. I had a grey goose lemon drop martini and she had the stella rosa cocktail. She had the squid ink pasta with crab and i had the chicken parmesan. We shared the tiramisu for dessert. So yummy!!

This was my first time at Tagliata as well as my friend, we had made sure to make a reservation in advance as we heard this place gets busy and good thing we did because it was definitely packed. We mostly came here for the Happy Hour but sadly missed our chance as it was too busy at the bar. We ended up getting a table outside and we were both in awe about how nice this place looks! The ambiance was beautiful and has a romantic/fancy feel to it.We ordered the Affetati Piccolo(Chefs Selection) as our starter. It was beautifully placed and the meats and cheese were delicious! We had a lot ordered a glass of wine as well as the Sprezzatura cocktail, which were both good. I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and my friend ordered the Bolognese. The Rigatoni was fantastic, the texture and the sauce definitely made me want more! My friend enjoyed her Bolognese and really liked the sauce. Overall experience is a 10/10! I will definitely be coming back and can't wait to try other things on the menu and hopefully will be able to try out the Happy hour!

My friend learned about their happy hour menu from an Instagram reel so we decided to come! I would say this place is worth visiting.Since we got the happy hour menu items, the portions were small. However, I think it was worth it to sample the menu for an affordable price. We were seated outside under a tree and it was gorgeous! Would come again.
