Tacos Tolteca

I stopped here for lunch after work this week. I ordered inside the restaurant when I got there, and was pleasantly surprised that the wait didn't take as long as I thought it would. They have seating, so you do have the option to eat inside. I noticed they have a board on the wall with specials that I don't think are included on their online menu. I would go inside to order if you can just to check those out. I'm not sure how frequently it might change. We got a small complimentary bag of tortilla chips and three sauces - a mild red salsa, salsa verde, and what seemed to be a spicy sour cream. I never figured out exactly what that last one was. I ordered the al pastor tacos and a steak quesadilla. If a restaurant has al pastor tacos, I'm basically guaranteed to get them, and I have come to realize each place does them a little differently. I was a little unimpressed with these only because the meat was so dry. The pineapple wasn't very juicy either, so that didn't help much. Between adding some of the salsas for some moisture and the amount of onion/cilantro, I really felt like I just lost the flavor of the taco itself. The steak quesadilla wasn't overwhelmingly good or bad. The only comment I have is that it could've used more steak!Based on this experience alone I'd give three stars, but I've had their food a few times before and consistently enjoyed it, so I'm giving them four. Hoping this visit was a one-off thing and they can redeem themselves next time.

After you try a local, independently owned taco shop, you will never go back to Taco Bell again... okay, maybe if you're highAF and it's after midnight, but I frown on your decision making. Not because of the smoking, but because Taco Bell is trash. You're better than that.Tacos Tolteca is amazing. We've been trying some other local places recently, but made our triumphant return last night, on our way to do some laundry. I got the chicken chimichanga - fried. It comes covered in cheese sauce, with a glorious side of refried beans and some rice. Do yourself the favor and get a container of their freshly made pico de gallo, too. My boyfriend got the Gordo Burrito (Large burrito stuffed with grilled chicken, chorizo, refried beans, Spanish rice and pico de gallo. Covered with queso dip). And some nachos (Nacho chips topped with your choice of meat, queso dip, lettuce, sour cream, and pico de gallo. + .99 for Guacamole) to share - but we were too full up to eat them, so we brought them home. Those are gonna be great with a cocktail!Would definitely recommend!!

Came here for lunch. They have a lot of options on their menu. Ended up trying al pastor tacos, fried shrimp tacos and carnitas original burro burrito. Everything was tasty, came with red, white sauces. The al pastor was a good portion and tasty meats. Wasn't huge on pineapple which came on this and shrimp. Shrimp had really tasty sauce on it as well. Favorite was the burrito. It had toppings on the burrito and green sauce all around it which was surprising spicy. Overall really good overall and would come back! Staff were friendly inside.

Flavors were just okay in the grilled chicken burrito bowl. Portions seemed small for the prices. Complimentary chips were nothing special, lacked salt, and the salsa was not for me. Ordered online for pick-up which was ready in about 15 mins. Would go again to try other options.

I can't believe I've been in the area 4 years and never tried this place!! It was so delicious! I ate it so fast I forgot to take pics but trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. I got street tacos which were absolutely divine and the best chimichanga I've had since moving to this area. The service is great and they even have seating for you to dine in. I'll def be back for more. Check them out and they will be your new favorite Mexican food spot as well :)

The kids chicken tenders were crispy but not over cooked. The fries were a bit soggy but that could have been because I ordered on Uber eats which took a long to get delivered. I also appreciated the free chips and salsa. The reason I ordered from here was because of the three birria tacos for $14. Although they meat itself was delicious and so was the consume (would've like it a bit thicker) I was thrown off by the onions / white slaw they were in. The taste was a mix of a slaw and cream sauce which I wasn't expecting and is the reason for my 4 stars. It threw off the taste

I ordered 6 tacos through door dash. The dasher delivered 2 tacos. When I saw the bag was very much missing several items I called and was told, " it's not their problem" . I spent $40 to be disrespected in this manner. Never again. I would have picked up the items if that was the only option but instead I received a rude response to service issue.

The food tastes like when you go over your white friend's parent's house for taco night after their first time at a Mexican resort in Cancun.

No matter when you go, the food is always on point. The street tacos are a must try. (Steak if you ask me lol)

Have been several times now. Great food. Birria tacos are so tender. The pulled chicken for any of the quesadillas or burritos is outstanding. Only thing is it's slightly expensive and pickup and online fees are ridiculous. But I am not blaming that on the quality of the food.
