Don't let the gas station location fool you. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. We've had fish, chicken wings, and chicken salad. Great choice!

I had a taste for some soul food so I searched DoorDash for some place. I came across this soul food carry out. I checked them out on Yelp and I saw that they had some good reviews. I ordered the catfish platter with the yams and collard greens. I got my husband the Baltimore hood burger with fries. We were both disappointed with the food. The fish tasted muddy/ fishy. They should've soaked it in milk to get rid of that taste before cooking it. The yams were very dry and flavorless. The greens were bland and as I chewed, I felt a crunchy sandy sensation. These greens were not cleaned properly. The burger was tough and it had a weird after taste. The bun was good and the vegetables on the burger tasted fresh but the bacon tasted as if sat out all day from breakfast. I gave 2 stars for the packaging. I will not be ordering from this place again. I was soo dissatisfied with this order, I could never.

I placed an order and never received my food. First and last time ordering here!The driver claims the food was delivered but it wasn't. I was at the door waiting for at least a half hour and noone showed up.

No disrespect to the old head that fried my fish...that was the best damn fish I had in a long time...fellas if you working that 12 hour shift, get the big fish sandwich and a 24oz drink, you're welcome!

I will say the food that I got there were two different occasions were very good , i've had the barbecue baby bag ribs I've had the collard greens I've had them mashed potatoes and potato salad and corn beef and the cabbage also had pig fee and I had turkey wings no complain or none of the food you this place is a place for your food to go you can call in the order and pick it up I will be ordering from this place again you cannot eat in is the only thing very small place so I recommend you calling First and put it in your order

I'm not from the area. After a meeting, I searched Maps for the closest restaurant. I was skeptical that it was in a gas station, but I walked in and saw two others waiting for their food from two friendly Black Kings. The food was good, hot and quick. Thanks!

The reviews are very misleading so please don't be fooled. I ordered cat fish with Mac&cheese and yams. Fish was mushy with a very fishy with no taste. Not to mention there was no flavor. I wasn't able to swallow the Mac&cheese because it was grossly awful. It tastes as if one of the ingredients if not all was spoiled. Yams were dry with no flavor as if they were dumped directly out of the can. I would have left no stars but yelp wouldn't let me.

Me and the Missess decided to try this place today, and we were highly satisfied. We wanted some soul food and ordered the fried chicken wing platter with mac and cheese and colards. I ordered the ribs with string beans and mac. Each platter was $9.99. The owners gave great customer service and gave us cornbread and a slice of lemon cake. We took our meal home and we weren't disappointed. The wings were seasoned well, and the ribs had a nice flavor. The sides were delicious, especially the mac. The cornbread was good, and the lemon cake was a 10/10. We will be back

I ordered baked Turkey Wings, they were burned. I don't know why they thought it was ok to sell to someone. Will never order from them again.

My husband and I were both very disappointed with our order. I ordered the baby back rib dinner and he the smothered pork chops. For the sides we ordered banana pudding, coconut cake and strawberry cake along with potato salad and fries.Well for the amount that I paid let's just say I could have went to the outback steakhouse and got a bigger portion of ribs. My husband's pork chops were very salty. The potato salad was nasty and the banana puddy was slop. The cakes that we ordered were not what was delivered to us. We were given yellow cake with chocolate frosting.I don't know who gave this restaurant 5 stars it must have been family, friends and church members because the food was awful and went into the trash. I wasted $45.00.
