I stopped in here 7-22-23 after my child care fingerprinting because I was hungry and to pass the time. It's really cute quant and manageable in here. And it's a working tv !! . They serve breakfast until 10:30am, I came in at 11:15am and they have wraps/sandwiches chips(the Good Kettle brand) and drinks sold separately. I'm indecisive but I went with the Chef club Turkey ham bacon American cheese (I swapped it out)" for provolone, it's a Cold sandwich tho I made it hot either way it was love!!!. On a sub roll is best!...your sandwich isn't skimped on with the meats it's a pretty good filling portion and the Sub roll is melted butter soft I just needed some olive oil & rosemary . The Sandwich was 7-8.00 Chips 1.65 drink 1.70 I think.. I loved that sandwich I started to get another one!!! But I got my mama one instead!! the young worker gave me American cheese it was made but it's cheese it could've been taken off as I asked may I swap it out or pay to swap if need be I forgot to! . She said it comes with it (like I didn't know that she refused) but the wonderful owner lady she said all you want is the cheese swapped and she did it for me! I'm super grateful. I'd definitely Return !!

Very tasty sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. If you are in the offices near by, definitely worth a visit

Closest to my work and I tend to stop by once in a while for chips or breakfast. Breakfast is pretty good especially if you get the platters. Two eggs, choice of bacon, sausage, or ham, two slices of toast with choice of jelly or butter, and potatoes for $3.70. Can't beat that. The eggs are a bit greasy, toast isn't toasted all the way, needs some salt and pepper. You get what you pay for. I've had lunches here but only sandwiches. Fairly good, seems fresh but sometimes lacks flavor. A bit expensive, $6 just for a sandwich no chips or even a pickle. They have a hot food and salad bar as well. Nothing fancy but just a quick place to grab and go if you work around the neighborhood. I will continue to return for the breakfast deal just because I'm desperate. LOL

They are convenient to my job and the buffet spread is appetizing. It's 50/50 for items that you order. You have to be very specific how you want your food prepared or you will get layers of excess condiments or a over size amount of cheap meat. The prices went up since the new management took over and they removed some favorites. Very nice people hope it improves.

They make everything from scratch. Including the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken nuggets on Friday. I like that they have fresh sliced vegetables and fruit every day. They have a good assortment of drinks - cans, bottles, fountain, soda, juice, and complimentary cold water. There is a tv with the news on and several small tables and chairs. They aren't too pricey - about average cost I'd say. There is an ATM machine and they now accept credit cards as well. I recommend the pasta avocado salad on Wednesdays, and the potato salad and chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce on Fridays. The stuffed grape leaves are very good as well. I have eaten lunch here a couple times a week for the past 3 years.

Well priced, and great to stop by when you forget to bring your lunch. Usually grab the Democracy - basically their Reuben, and the combo add on for +$1.79 - chips and soda. Always good, and always fresh there.

Consistently good. No frills but a highly decent salad bar and sandwich menu. Really the only game in town for anyone working in Democracy Plaza.

TJ's is pretty good considering the constraints under which they operate -- a small space and modest number of nearby employees. The salad/hot food bar has some good choices although the variety from day-to-day is modest. The proprietors are Korean and the best dishes on the hot bar reflect that -- try the Korean green salad, marinated grilled veggies, dumplings, grilled tofu or the cellophane noodles. The American dishes are more middling in quality (like the meat loaf). Prices are somewhat high but no more so than most places in North Bethesda (it's hard to get a sandwich or salad and a soft drink for under $10 in North Bethesda).
