Szechuan Hot Wok

Food was good. I was staying at a hotel nearby and could only order through Uber Eatz. Took 50 minutes for delivery. Portions were small but good nonetheless.

We were staying in a hotel by BWI on Christmas night. So glad this place was open. Just a takeout place in a strip mall, but the food was great. Takeout chicken fried rice, spring rolls and kung PAO chicken were delicious

It's decent. I mean, it is a typical Chinese-American takeout restaurant. Nearly all Chinese-American restaurants taste the same. I would say take it or leave it since you know what you are expecting.

Szechuan is my go to Chinese Take Out. Not only are the portions more than enough for two meals, but they're also affordable and delicious. Whenever I order, the man who answers the phone is pleasant and patient. They have tons of variety for the lunch specials; those of themselves are the best. They come with a entree, the choice of white/brown/fried rice, and a soda/egg roll for $5.50. This time around, I opted for something different from my regular order (Beef and Broccoli) and got the Orange Chicken; it was packed with flavor, a little bit of heat, and freshness. The inside is tiny, with two tables for dining in, but I always pick it up and go. There are always enough people to help with your order and payment, all pleasant as well. No matter the time or day, whenever I have a craving for Chinese, I can't bare to stray from Szechuan.

Great carryout menu...very reasonable. Wife had the fried chicken wings, hot and sour soup, and kung pao chicken. I had the Hunan shrimp. I was very pleased with the meal. Ample portions, no skimping on chickenor shrimp. Shrimp good size! Didn't feel like going out (staying overnight in hotel for flight tomorrow). Highly recommend for carry out.

My coworkers told me about this place. While attending class at Maritime, I decided to check it out. They have lunch special menu for $5.25 and I went with the orange chicken. To my surprise they actually have orange peels cooked with the chicken. This made me very happy as my favorite orange chicken in Cali was cooked this way. My order was cooked fresh, but I highly suggest to call in your order since it took about 20 minutes. I sat waiting patiently and was able to pick up Dunkin Donuts free wi-fi next door.

Been eating here since I was a kid. I've branched out to other Chinese places in the area, but this one stands above all In quality of taste.

I may have already left a review but I just had another delicious meal. The chicken pan fried noodles (white sauce+ extra celery), sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice. It doesn't get any better than this!

*3.5 STARS*Boneless spare ribs - I've been craaaaaving boneless spare ribs the past two days and had to figure out which Chinese-American restaurant was going to satisfy this craving. Let me tell you about Szechuan Hot Wok. They NAILED it. 5/5 I mean look at the photo I took. There's an even ratio of meat and fat and the sauce is so dreamy. It was everything I wanted and more. Pork Fried rice - Their fried rice was okay. I wouldn't purchase it separately, but will settle with it if it comes with a combo plate. I can taste the burnt pieces which doesn't bother me too much, but I can see how most people wouldn't like that. I grew up eating burnt rice, so that's nothing out of the ordinary. What was a bit disappointing was the lack of flavor. 3/5 for this one Orange chicken - So I know I said I was craving the boneless spare ribs and yes, they do offer it as a combo. However, I saw a lot of reviews and photos on their orange chicken, so I decided what the heck, let's try it out. I definitely ordered with my eyes on this one. It's nicely fried, so not incredibly soggy. Flavor is there, but I've had better. I actually have my own recipe at home that I'll just stick to in the future if I'm ever wanting orange chicken. 3/5Price - Their pricing is really good given that most prices have risen due to covid. Their lunch combos are only $6 and you get rice and your choice of soup, egg roll or can of soda. Sounds like a good deal to me! 5/5Covid - Dine in is not available. Their place is pretty small, I think enough to fit one or two tables. So regardless of covid, this place primarily is for take out. Their entire counter is blocked off with some sort of plastic. Masks are worn and enforced. Hand sanitizer is provided. My only concern is cross contamination from wearing gloves. I'm not sure how often they are changing out their gloves. 4.5/5Parking - There's parking right in front of the establishment. I'm not sure how busy it gets since I ordered around 9:30pm, but I had no issue. 5/5Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking to get your cravings satisfied. They're open past 10, which is a plus.

I had alot of running around to do before work. So when i got to work I wanted some Chinese food so i order from there. Food got to my job in like 40 minutes (not bad timing). When i open it up a LONG PIECE OF HAIR was in my food. So i called them and told them. They said they was going to replace my food. I asked them how long was it going to be i only had a half hour lunch. He stated to me like 10-15 minutes. Well the food took like a half hour to get there by this time i called back and said just give me my money back. I now don't have time to eat. The guy said okay. Then some lady had came up there with replaced food. I told her I didn't want it just my money back. She stated to me NO MONEY BACK TAKE THE FOOD. Long story short i got my damn money back. P.S dont want to give them no stars but i have to to post.
