The sushi is very good, but their service is literally the worst I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I've gone back 5 or 6 times because I like the sushi so much and without exception the service has failed in every way they could possibly fail; this includes never bringing drinks to the table (and I mean we got through the whole meal without the drinks coming). Additionally and very importantly: my fiancé is allergic to shellfish and after going there twice herself and ordering non-shellfish meals she had severe reactions to the food. They must not be bothered to prevent cross contamination of their ingredients.

I wish I loved this place, but unfortunately, I was let down. I haven't been to Szechuan Cafe since the 90s since it was in GB, and it looks like the quality has gone downhill. The good: my sushi was good (butterfly roll)The bad: everything else was meh. The beef and broccoli: the beef is a bit starchy and has a thick coating. The shrimp lo mein: was not memorable. The white rice: very dry. Avoid: the Jade Lobster. They were skimpy on the caribbean lobster and it didn't really matter because the texture was so off (maybe it was frozen)? The sauce was very bland, which made the veggies bland. It was not worth $30+Overall, I spent about $90 for the family and I probably would not return.

Szechuan Cafe has been our go to for years and years. The food is great the restaurant is very clean and they offer a sushi bar as well. The ambiance is sit down and well appointed they do offer carry out and delivery. Staff and service is friendly. We love the house fried rice, Shrimp with lobster sauce it tasty with large shrimp. And the large egg rolls are really good. All the brown sauce based dishes along with the light sauce based dishes hit the mark. Hard to find this type of place where all the dishes are good but Szechuan Cafe does.

I get carry out here when I'm in the area. Their portions are large and the price is on the higher end also. I have had the sushi and also carry out dinners. It's always been tasty and fresh.

We have been ordering here since they opened. The food has continued to go downhill. Last night we ordered Orange Chicken which is to be spicy - it was not and the chicken rubbery. The appetizer was the crepes, which are wontons filled with cream cheese and crabmeat. The wonton was chewy. We noticed that with the dumplings so stopped ordering those. Plenty of cream cheese and minimal crabmeat if any; as, there was zero crab flavor. This was carry-out. We arrived 10 minutes before the order was to be ready and it was already sitting there. We live close but by the time we got home the crepes were COLD. Orange chicken we could heat-up. Very disappointing.

Judging by the fact that there is always a line to get in here at night, Szechuan Café should be nothing short of five stars.It's our third time here and this time we are here because we got a gift certificate for Christmas. Luckily we got here before 630 because thats when the line forms at the door. And the takeout line is almost as long.This family run establishment runs like a perfectly greased wheel. Everyone who is working here does every job. You never go long without an unfilled water glass or beverage. Plates are cleared discreetly and quietly without interrupting you. The table settings include high-quality napkins which are sadly missing today at many of the places we dine. And you don't have to ask for extras because they always give you a couple extra.Plus everyone who works here smiles at every table as they walk by. It's just really good old fashioned service that makes our experience even better.But none of that would matter if the food didn't live up. Well the food does live up to our expectations and in fact often times exceeds our expectations. The portion sizes are large. Presentation is wonderful and the food is great.There aren't enough superlatives. I just know that I'm glad to have found this place and we will be back often.

Used to love this place. Unfortunately I got to see what they really are like. Rude and uncaring. Spent 3.5 hours waiting in their tiny waiting area packed with other people. They had no system to call out names. After waiting 3 1/2 hours was still treated like I was doing something wrong for wanting to see if they were even preparing my order. At least two different people were very rude and uncaring. Should've at least offered a gift card since I spent my whole Christmas Eve with them! Oh was told 50 minutes on two separate 60 minute periods.
