Sydney's Ice Creams

Fellow big backingtons... Check out Sydney's Ice Creams sampler tray for $12 and thank me later. This ice cream is so freaking good and the owner is even better. I always receive such sweet customer service when I visit with my family. They have a revolving menu so you'll always be in for a surprise. I love so many of the flavors which makes it kinda hard to choice a favorite flavor. They also have at least one vegan option. Overall, you can go wrong with any of these flavorful, textured ice creams (typically each flavors has some form of chunk in it such as cookies, biscuits, fruit etc). The place is small but it does offer a small space in the front for about 3 people to sit. Otherwise, it's more of a cute carryout/boutique ice cream shop. Parking can be busy on Belair road but I typically find street parking immediately in front of the shop. I highly recommend this business as a specialty dessert shop and small black owned business. P.s. I noticed there was a cute pink truck outside of the shop one day. I think they may be expanding to have a mobile ice cream truck or perhaps a rental for parties/events. Anywho, give them a visit. You won't be disappointed! Also, get the rewards card.

I love Sydney's Ice Creams! I've sent my husband multiple times to get ice cream from them but finally went on national ice cream day to get some. I got key lime, key lime tres leches, and strawberry cheesecake. Everything looked so good in the case and she herself was a fantastic person. She is very open to new flavor ideas and I appreciate business owners wanting honest feedback. You knock on the door or ring the bell to have someone let you in. It's a small space but it's cute and she told me they do private parties on the patio, so I may book one in the future. I love the bright colors and her staff is just as nice as she is. They have vegan flavors and flavors that aren't all about chocolate, so I love the variety. You're free to taste any flavor that is available. They sell by the pints as well as scoops. You definitely need to come check out this amazing ice cream shop. Black woman owned and worth every pint you will get. I'll try a milkshake next time.

Please run to this place!!! This ice cream is delicious. Made with fresh ingredients! The owner is so sweet and kind. Very welcoming place! I will be returning. Parking is not bad, plenty of street parking. Great small business!!

Walk up the steps to Great natural homemade flavors. Will be back to try ice cream sandwiches! Tried banana pudding and upside down cake. Ring the doorbell if the door is locked! You can sample flavors and split scoops!

What a cool neighborhood local ice cream place. Love the decor and the cute outdoor seating area. Please don't miss out on a place that has amazing ice cream and is locally owned. We will return to get some more ice cream in the future.

I will definitely be back! Upon entry, we were met with a friendly greeting. I tried the roasted cherry cheesecake with biscoff cookies and the peaches and biscuits ice cream. Both were well-balanced and creamy. I ended up getting the poundcake with the cherry cheesecake ice cream on top. The poundcake had a great spongy inside with a crusty caramelized outer shell and a blueberry lemon icing on top. I can't wait to stop in again.

Sydney's is the best ice cream in the city! There is a great mix of fun and traditional flavors - I highly recommend getting the flight to try some of each. Lemon peppermint stick might be my all time favorite ice cream flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and have incredible attention to detail - even the cones put other waffle cones to shame. It's a great little ice cream shop!

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! The space was clean and cute and the service was very pleasant.

Ok, see, what Baltimore can never have enough of, in my book....is a good ice cream shop! Sydney's Ice Creams is a wonderful addition. It's an adorable little shop nestled in the historic Belair-Edison community. Dare I say that she has some of the best I've eaten. Her flavors are unique and so delicious. This time, I had her banana pudding and peaches and biscuits ice creams. Bits of biscuits in ice cream, y'all?!? Who knew that was what I was missing?! Each bite was heavenly. She also had a freshly baked pound cake that I sampled. It was the right amount of sweet, with a slightly crusted exterior. The inside? MOIST!!! She also makes delicious chocolate chip cookies too. All of my favorite guilty pleasures under one roof....oh I'ma be back!!

OMG!! If you haven't tried it yet, run, don't walk to this new homemade ice cream spot!! In fact you will probably need to run to keep from getting a big back from all of this goodness. The owner, immediately greeted me, and welcomed me to her establishment. Try the banana pudding ice cream y'all. Ump ump ump...Pure delightful. I ate it before I could snap a picture . Definitely coming back to try out some of the other flavors.
