My boyfriend and I decided to visit this place for a quick dinner one evening. The inside is decorated nicely and has plenty of seating options. We were greeted right away to place our order. We had the beef suya, chicken suya, jollof rice, white rice, and plantains. The food was okay. My beef suya was kind of dry and my boyfriend didn't like the sauce that came on his chicken. We did enjoy the rice. Not sure if we'll be back since we spent a lot of money on our food for it just to be okay. Most of the suya dishes comes a la carte so you have to pay separately for the sides.

Jollof rice had the right amount of spice and heat, very tasty and the plantains were sweet. Beef Suya. It was well seasoned, spicy, and flavorful. However, some pieces of beef were tough and charred, definitely not an even temperature of cooking on the meat. You order and pay at the kiosk; food was up pretty fast, about a 15 min wait. Clean establishment, if your dining in - they have plenty of tables indoors and out.

First time trying Suya (the restaurant or the food). Never had Nigerian food either. I will start off with the fact that the place was very clean, the staff were super friendly, and very helpful. She came around the counter and explained each food to me. She had to step away for a moment to help other customers, as I pondered what to order, but quickly came back to help me decide.Had to try the Asun (very spicy goat) and I was not disappointed. While not the spiciest food I have ever had, it had some good zing to it and was very tasty. The Jollof rice was also very good. I had never had rice cooked with curry powder and thyme, but I approve. The Gizdodo (plantains and gizzards) were also cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The Orijin "beer" was sweetish and unusual, but not at all unpleasant. The fried fish roll was more doughy than I expected. I guess I have had too many egg rolls and empanadas in my life. But, it was good without being overly fishy. Dipped in some spicy chili paste type sauce they brought and it was yummy. I can't tell you if any of it was authentic Nigerian food or not, having no frame of reference, but I can tell you that it all tasted fabulous, the place was very clean, the atmosphere was very upbeat, and the staff was fantastic! Thank you for a lovely introduction to Nigerian cuisine!

I had a taste for authentic Nigerian food and heard lots of good things about this restaurant. When entered there were three tablets where you can place your carry out order. I was very impressed with the system because the menu showed pictures and also let you know the most popular menu items. Once ordered my food was ready within 15 mins. I ordered the jollof rice, egusi, and pounded yam. All very delicious. The restaurant was very clean and had traditional music playing in the background which I loved. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a traditional Nigerian meal.

The customer service was good. I was able to walk in and get my food in less than 10 minutes. The hostess was nice. There was seating room in the front space and looked like a sit down restraunt/bar in the back.I got the Egusi soup and pounded yam. I've never had this before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The pounded yam was as really soft and was like a stickier mashed potato. The soup was flavorful and I liked it. I ordered it without the meat, but it must be stewed in the meat because I got meat pieces. There were some lamb pieces but they were really tough. There was also something white, I assume some type of fat but I couldn't eat that;it didn't seem edible: And these meat pieces took up a large portion of the soup. So, even though I got what appears to be 160z of soup, I probably only got about half of that (or even less than that) that was edible.I paid $23 for the soup and pounded yam. I dot. believe it is worth it for the amount of food I got, but the flavors were still really good.

Absolutely horrible service over the phone. Asked about an order they forgot to include and the woman was absolutely rude and told me it was in there. When I reminded her that it was not, she said "well you can come and get it then." We ordered multiple things, starting with the lamb suya. Lamb is one of the most tender meats when cooked right. My husband said it tasted like beef jerky because it was so tough and dried out.I was so excited to try egusi, ayamase and fufu and we paid $24 for each one. We received a very small container of each.. About the size of a cup of soup. While I tried placing my order on the phone there was dead air and I asked if she could hear me, she told me "there's a line here and people on the phone who know what they want so call back when you know what you want to order".. I had my order written in front of me but she couldn't hear me.. when I started placing the order she asked "is that all?" After each order. We had a big order for a group of people, I felt as though her rushing was also the reason to why they didn't get my order complete. I tried ordering the sausage rolls but the last on the phone sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. She kept saying do you mean fish rolls? On the menu they have both sausage rolls and fish rolls listed as two different items.Definitely will not be returning.

No one asked me but as usual I'm going to share any way. First Nigerian Restaurant/Bar I've been in a while with correct.... And I mean correct AMBIANCE. I was more blown away by the decor and the space of this location than anything else. This location is beautiful and clean. I even noticed that the buffet glass was neat and spotless. I did go to the restaurant around noon and it wasn't too busy or crowded. I had rice and ayamashe sauce plantain and snail. I wished the snail wasn't as dry and was more saucier ( but then again that's how I cook it,not everyone like saucy snail) but because the snail didn't come with sauce (I was hoping to eat it with rice) I did purchase the "ayamashe" sauce, which didn't disappoint either. Everything was the perfect amount of spice. Nothing too much or too little. This could have been a 5 star if I would have had the chance to visit their bar area and enjoy what that could have been like. But overall for a quick bite on a Wednesday afternoon, this was a great location to visit.

I am changing my review because of the amazing customer service. They reached out to me after my first review and apologized and that truly makes all the difference. They seem super open to customer feedback and wanting to make it amazing.

First time trying Nigerian food - and it was fantastic! Suya chicken was beyond tender and the creamy spice sauce was unique and delicious. Tripe was flavorful but tough - yet he ate all of it.

First of all the meat that I received was very dry and really, really tough. It looked like leftover meat from days ago. My rating for this business is zero
