Sushi Yama

Flavorless apps and watched my roll sit in the windows for 20 minutes. Overpriced and underwhelming.

They over price and barely give you enough. The food is bland, only good thing is the sushi. Sure it's overpriced too but it's the best part of it.

Was in the mood for sushi. Located Sushi Yama. Walked in and was greeted right away. Sat in a booth and the waitress came to take our order. The restaurant had a nice crowd. The food came out really quickly and hot. The waiter was attentive and really personable by suggesting menu items and confirming the order. You can see the sushi being prepared and it is re fresh. I can't wait to go back.

Gyoza was delicious, sushi was exceptional! My new go-to. Oh and the Kano salad was really good too.

Best Sushi in Middletown.! Or anywhere for that matter... They are sushi Artist, always fresh and delicious! We are always served with great customer service, the restaurant is very clean and comfortable!

Fresh, delicious food. My husband loves the calamari and now won't eat it anywhere else. We love this place!

My favorite sushi place in the MOT area. The food is always delicious. The dragon roll and the monkey roll are divine. Service is always really fast and responsive. Small intimate Japanese decor and music makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Dine in is best, but take out is great too!

Was super impressed by the pork katsu. It was not oily at all and the meat was very tender and soft while the outside was crispy. We also ordered a party platter which had really good variety for the price (8 rolls for about $60). My family all really enjoyed it and were happy with the value. The place is kind of small, but clean and decorated with Japanese elements.

Update. Second time trying Sushi Yama and it was even better than the first. Granted we ordered the same dishes both times and I am happy to say the dishes were consistent, well made and generously portioned. I would recommend this place but I want to keep it for myself. Great staff and attentive service.
