Sunrise Cafe

If I lived near Sunrise Cafe, this would be part of my regular lunch rotation!Did you know that this eatery has been around for about 15 years now?! Wow, and I can see why!This Korean-owned small deli is located on the first floor of the 11720 building - it seems as if the loyal customer base includes the employees of the building as well as those who live in the area.Unfortunately, Korean dishes are no longer on the menu, but you can call ahead and make a reservation for a pickup for a special request, such as bibimbop, bulgogi, fried rice, etc. I think it's incredibly generous and thoughtful that the owner would take the time to customize and make special Korean dishes for her customers!The menu offers cold and hot sandwiches, as well as breakfast options. Since we had already eaten lunch earlier, we tried their Steak & Cheese - this was lovingly prepared, filled generously with steak, fried onions, mayo, and provolone cheese - simple, delicious, and tasty!I'd love to try the rest of their hot and cold sandwich menu and hope to be able to try some of the Korean dishes as well on the next visit.The owner is sweet, friendly, and welcoming, and so humble. There are plenty of seats to dine-in, and there were a few patrons who had their orders to go.Restrooms have their own unique code that is required to gain access.Check this place out - they're only opened during the week. This little cafe is located in a business building. The place is clean, food is great, and owner is friendly. They have daily specials so make sure to ask what the special is for the day.Today's (Monday) special is Bulgogi over white rice with glass noodles and kimchi. The bulgogi had great flavor - tasted and smelled amazing. The glass noodles were perfectly seasoned. The kimchi was on the spicy side but not too spicy - I almost asked for more.I definitely will be back to try other specials.

This cafe is tucked inside of an office building on the 1st floor. The owner of the establishment is very kind. You can tell that she enjoys her job and having conversation with customers. From what I've heard this is a go to spot for an affordable and wholesome breakfast. I had the tuna salad sandwich closer to closing time and the salad was not only fresh but the croissant offered a nice buttery texture to the sandwich. Some tuna salads have too much mayonnaise but this one was just right. Treat yourself!

Excellent food, stopped by based on the reviews and had the steak sandwich. I was not disappointed, It was full of flavor and the lady working there seems to be a 1 man show but does a great job. Clean place and good prices.

This is an owner-operated casual place. The main menu is that of a deli-style breakfast and lunch sandwich shop, with an additional Korean cuisine special of the day that you have to ask for. I asked for the Korean cuisine special of the day, which was spicy pork bulgogi, japchae (glass noodles), and musaengchae (sweet and lightly spicy radish salad). The food was excellent. Highly recommended.

I only found this gem after checking in on Yelp. Had a good workout and didn't want to hit the usual chain restaurants but instead support a small business. So glad I did! Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcoming smile. Restaurant was kept very clean and all was in order. We ordered french toast platters with coffee. Portions were hearty and delicious. Everything was made fresh and in a timely manner. The charming owner has been there for 14 years and used to have 2 employees but with the past years events and less customers in the building, it's down to just the owner manning the restaurant. I heard the weekly lunch specials but forgot all except for my favorite bibimbap on Wednesdays. I'll be sure to snap and upload pic when I return. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Overly friendly if you ask me.:-) But in the world that we live in today its a breath of fresh air.Food, service and prices are always great. I go weekly its in the lobby of the building across from me.

So this little spot is really underrated for it should definitely be more reviews...smh...for this to be a huge office building but this little spot was not your average fancy cafe with a top notch griddle but hell the owner made it work with what she had and I swear the food came out great no complaints for real...the lady was really sweet and kind and took pride to make everything to order...and no there was not anything sitting out already ready...this lady cooked everything potatoes, bacon, pancake in that order...yessss....I was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised....!

Awesome food!!! I love the everything bagel with bacon, provolone, and egg. Also, the lady that works here is super friendly

Very low-key, but good food, and fast friendly service. Great for breakfast (she uses real eggs for her sandwiches)!
