super good barbq the owner /cook was very kind and the atmosphere was very homey . the menu is about one or two pages and the pig beef was the best option the ribs however were short ribs and not baby back .

Let me tell you... when I say this was delicious! That doesn't do it justice! It was that and more! He catered my party with brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken and cole slaw The seasoning was amazing! Scott is a great guy! Prompt, personable, and professional!I don't usually take the time to write reviews. This is well worth my time!Don't take it from me... call him!

Steel Drum Smoker's BBQ is on the scene! SDS is based in Baltimore but the owner, Scott, will deliver to Philly; I'm a witness *in my church pew voice* I checked out their website, Steeldrumsmokers.com, after a recommendation from a friend. Everything looked delicious. I decided to order two.smoked.chickens. Yeah you read the punctuation right: two.smoked.chickens because I need you to pause for emphasis lol. Scott delivered them on time after I placed the order 48 hrs in advance. They were perfectly packaged too. He also delivered heating instructions and business cards, which I will pass along to friends. So about the taste. Man, listen, those birds were delicious, flavorful and juicy. I still have one in the fridge for later. Even my son had zero complaints and is asking me to reheat the other one later this week. I purchased the pork ribs, chicken wings, brisket and pulled pork to cater an event in mid-July and was beyond pleased with the quality of the food. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable about smoked meats and is also very accommodating with his mobile delivery service. If you want to take pictures of your food, I recommend doing so BEFORE you dig in. Once you taste that smoked bbq flavor, there will be nothing left for the camera!
