This was a nice little art gallery that we stumbled on while looking for the cafe - which wasn't open. Not gonna lie, while I'd like to learn more, in the art world, I am the definition of a neophyte, so I can't go into any deep explanations of what I saw, so I'll have to be true to who I am and explain it as I saw it. There were some really nice exhibits, the facility was really clean & quiet, and the security guard at the entrance was very helpful. Even tho this was out of my wheelhouse, I still had a good time. It felt as cultural and artsy as anything I've been to in Baltimore. 4 stars. Next time, hopefully, I can catch the cafe too.

This is the cutest, arty spot I've been in lately! Plus the owner was taking orders and such a fabulous host that I felt like I stepped into a version of "Cheers" or something ova hea! I ordered a egg and turkey sandwich on bagel and a corn waffle with eggs. Everything was made to order and piping hot! I didn't eat the sandwich but it disappeared quickly w no complaints! I really enjoyed the corn waffle, but my scrambled eggs had cheese that I didn't ask for. A lot of u would appreciate that- but me and dairy are friendemies! Thier prices are insanely low compared to other spots! I think this is a great place to come in on a regular bases and rub elbows w local cool folks and artists.

Just 3 blocks north of the University of Baltimore in the great Station North. #ubaltThis place is amazing cool...great heavy heavy breakfast for a growing (outward) boy. Try the pictured grits, hot cornbread and gravy with sausage...and yes...I add gravy because...it's GRAVY damnit! Wacky cool art on the walls but a terrific pair of warm and friendly owners.

Cute little breakfast spot gem tucked into the North Ave fabric. A spunky fun little place with great early bird energy and music. LGBTQ vibe for all and a queer eye for the straight guy like me. I had the corn bread waffle and home fries. Very rich and tasty. They could use thicker bacon but service was fun and friendly. I walked away just full enough of food and even fuller with positive vibes. Lots of personality and artsy.

If you have ever had a conversation with me that lasted longer than a minute then you are well aware that I loves me some breakfast!! I often like to find places that have either really good french toast, really good bacon or really good waffles.. This place came up when I did a search for waffles. When I pulled up to the restaurant i first thought my GPS dropped me off in the wrong place.. Then I saw a small A frame sign with the restaurant name on it. The location was a little off putting and looked dare I say a little dingy from the outside. I figured hey, I was here no turning back now.. Since it was pretty early in the day I was able to get street parking right in front without a problem, so I paid for my parking and went right in.. Walking in was interesting, its a dark hallway and an unmarked door.. Ordering process was simple, the guys working were nice but nothing more than good morning and how can i help you.. Since I opted for take out I got a chance to admire some of the artwork around the place as I waited on my meal. As far as the food, the waffle was good but they didn't top it the way I was expecting based on the photos ive seen here. The eggs were decent and the bacon was by far not my favorite.. it was a little limp and chewier than I like. Over all its just OK, not a place I could see myself going out of my way to go back to but from what I gather its a local business by a local Baltimorean and I can always support that! If you live in the area then its a place you should at least give a chance!

Best cafe in Baltimore! This place is a gem. You can just get a coffee, something I do now and then. Or stay for breakfast or lunch. Got a special request or a dietary concern, no problem.Maybe the best part of SNAC is the way they make you feel welcome and at home.

Love is so many things. Love is the smell of your mother baking a pie when you come home from an extended time away. Love is the embrace of friend who you have neglected but still holds you tight when you see them. Love is blind, love is unconditional, love is forever. SNAC is that love. SNAC is Downtown Kevin Brown greeting you the warmest greeting that is ever possible (has anyone been so excited, so loving, so delighted to see me? Kevin's voice saying "HEY! How's it going!" makes me question that.) SNAC is the warm smell of cinnamon despite the season, despite the weather, despite the trials and tribulations of your own life or the turbulence of the outside world. Love is warm. SNAC is warm food, warm walls, warm greetings, warm comfort in a world and a time that is sometimes cold and cruel and hostile and inhospitable. Love is rarely a choice. Blood is thicker than water; your family loves you because you are family. You spotted your husband/wife/partner/lover from across a crowded room and were struck by Cupid's arrow. Station North Arts Cafe, Kevin Brown, and all of the associates chose to love you. Your stained shirt, your bad attitude, your broken glasses put together with tape, your loneliness, your sorrow, your anger; they say "put it down, hang it up, have a seat, what would you like?"Choose to love them.
