Finally tired the infamous God Father Italian hoagie and it was fantastic. The hoagie is only available on Wednesdays, everything was extremely fresh and tasty. It came with a side and I tried the pasta salad. The salad was creamy and zesty. I called ahead and although busy, it was easy to grab!

A local hidden gem in Baltimore. Don't let the outside deceive you. Not only is this a great place to watch games and hang out, but the service and food are excellent. A menu with a good amount of variety, I was surprised to see crab cakes (of course a Maryland specialty) on the menu, but upon encouragement from the waitress (she had tried and loved them), I decided to give it a go and was not disappointed. Crab cakes were delicious, you can get them boiled or fried, I got one of each and they were delicious. Everything else from the fries to the wings to the burgers were delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. As far as the vibe, it's definitely more casual, and gives a very "local" feel. All around impressed with the experience.Side note: they show the UFC fight nights, and even have UFC fighter appearances from time to time.

Definitely located in a rougher looking part of Baltimore, this restaurant is definitely one that I would classify as one only the locals know about. Off the beaten path, neighborhood looks a little rough and just behind this place is an industrial complex. But then you walk inside and are instantly relieved. Friendly faces, verbal greetings and quick service, even with a large party. The restaurant isn't huge but not tiny either. And there is a side room where you can host a private event. The private area also has a pool table so it can be a good spot for an end-of-week get-together.The menu is a good size and in the several times I've been here, I've liked everything I tried. The cooks at this place can whip up a lunch with the best of 'em. I don't think you can go wrong here. Soups, sandwiches, burgers...all legit and a good size with enough meat to keep you happy.I highly, highly recommend this place. You'll definitely feel like you discovered a secret no one else knows about. But don't worry, you don't have to keep this place to yourself!

What a hidden gem! Don't let the surrounding area deceive you! The Buffalo chicken sandwich was so good. I took my first bite and couldn't believe my taste buds. You have to give this place a try. The staff is also an amazing bunch!

I literally had to have my arm twisted to give this place a try. Do NOT be discouraged by the souronding area! This place was wonderful. Very clean and set up nicely. Sweet attentive bartenders and great food. We had prime rib, NY strip, and crab dip. The steaks we're huge, flavorful, tender, and cooked the way we ordered. Definitely recommend to anyone close who wants a pickle shot, a good inexpensive meal, or to play a few on one of the slot machines. The local enforcement also frequents the establishment which eased any concerns about the surrounding area. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

By popular demand Karaoke has returned on Fridays from 6pm 'til 10pm at Spirits West Country Club, located 2601 Wilkens Avenue (across the street from St. Benedict's Catholic Church). Reggie Kelly's "ROCK 'N' SOUL" KARAOKE SHOW is there with a great sound system, studio quality mics and a vast song selection of many genres to choose from. Great food at generous proportion at the most reasonable prices are served every day along with great drinks in a cozy, mature atmosphere. This is one of Baltimore's "Hidden Gems". Make it a point to stop by on Fridays and sing with Reggie. Reggie also spins Oldies on Tuesdays during Happy Hour from 4pm 'til 7pm.

Great spot for a late lunch, after pressing the doorbell for entry (very quick) I came for the soup and really enjoyed their open face Reuben sandwich that was on special! Low carb with only one slice of toast that had a generous amount of corned beef served piping hot with Swiss perfectly melted over the kraut and dressing, absolutely delicious. Service was fabulous, server provided a good knife to manage the sandwich (yes, I used a fork!) and ate every delicious bite. Friendly attentive staff, while the place is a generally a bar/neighborhood place, the food is great. Cream of crab soup was thick with crab piled on top, which I stirred in, a hearty offering. The place was great for lunch, and it's not hard to picture it bustling on game night,

After attending the funeral Mass of a dear family member we all had the good fortune of attending a wake here, just cross the street from St. Benedict's Church where the food and service were second to none. I would highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood gem
