I waited 30 minutes after I order an 8" cheesesteak with fries. I should've cancelled. There was more lettuce than steak. I was shocked how little steak there was on the roll. Lesson learned and never again. But people were friendly. Had to edit because I forgot that I had to wait for them to "drop the fries", which tasted like old grease. I hate being so negative, but the review was needed.

This was our second dinner It was late (8:00) and we ordered two pizzas for delivery. We got large Buffalo Chicken and a small crab dip pizza. Delivery was quick (8:27) and both pizzas were hot! The pizzas were very delicious! The crab dip pizza was fresh and yummy--not imitation crab and it was generous with the meat. I was impressed. My boyfriend and brother in law destroyed the buffalo chicken pizza.

Ordered and delivery was quoted 45-50 mins. 90 mins later, my husband called for an ETA on our order and he was told "the driver delivered it to the wrong house."While I'm not sure how that even happens, he asked how long would it be for a new order to come out. He was told 30-45 mins.He then asked if we waited that long, would it be discounted or free. My husband was put on hold for 5 mins while he "asked the guys."When the guy came back on the phone, my husband was told "we can't give you any money off if you're still getting the food." Our credit card was already charged $43+ and they weren't going to refund the amount! (Translation we're calling the credit card company in the morning to dispute the charge.)It wasn't worth arguing. My husband told them to cancel the order. (We're not out to get something for free.) Had they called to tell us our order was delivered to the wrong house, we would have gladly waited for a new order at full price.Lack of communication and not taking responsibility for their error is what got us. Honestly, we think they forgot to make the order and made an excuse.Either way, South River Pizza & Subs lost us as a customer tonight. Customer service is the most important thing -- they need to work on that.

I had mediocre expectations, but was hoping for something that looks better than what comes out of 7-Eleven. I asked for extra cheese and mushroom, but yet it looks like I got regular cheese and hardly any mushroom. I hope it taste better than it looks.

An average pizza place. There are 3 types of pizza places. Your bargain bottom level such as dominos, pizza hut, etc. The fast chains competing against each other. Big pizzas run 8-14 bucks. Then you have gourmet places at the high end, pizzas running 30+ bucks usually worth the price. Last you have those in the middle. That is your biggest "maybe" places pizzas run 18-25 bucks. This is one of those. They are average. They still use cheaper bread dough instead of pizza dough to save money, its bland and flavorless, even Dominos is better. I tried 2 pizzas today, their meat pizza and a buffalo chicken. A buffalo chicken pizza is suppose to have chicken, buffalo sauce of some sort and a sweet cheese of some sort to contrast with the sauce. They just had a chicken pizza. No buffalo nothing, no sweet cheese. 2/5 stars only because it had lots of chicken. Their meat pizza was plenty of toppings but the cheap average processed toppings all other chains use, once you eat it you instantly recognize the flavor and go "oh that". There isn't any reason to go out of your way to order here, every other bottom-middle pizza place is its rival and it doesn't do anything better than any of them. Won't go back Dominos is closer, and cheaper.
