Walked in and it's a cafeteria-style restaurant. We were greeted at the counter, nice ladies. The food options looked decent, the meatloaf caught my eye and my cousin got smothered pork chops, we both had Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes with our meat choice. We paid and left. My cousin rushes to the restroom once we got to our very next errand after eating and then we were both sick last night. Food poisoning. Eat here with caution.

Hidden Gem in Eastover Shopping Center. I ordered turkey wings, potato salad and sautéed green beans! I also got a fried pork chop. The turkey wings were not as tender as I desired and the gravy was watery. Green beans were great! The potato salad was sweet and I didn't like it My coworkers ordered other items and found some items to be a hit or miss. I sampled a couple of sides from them, the mac n cheese was good, not the best but not the worst. The candy yams were good and I would order them. The iced tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. The customer service was good and the workers were inviting. Lastly, the fruit was displayed so fresh and ripe, it forced me to order a smoothie. You can choose any combo of fruit for your smoothie. Treat yo self to a smoothie! Thank me later!

When SouthPride first opened, the food was delicious. Nice, big, generous portions of food at very reasonable prices. BUT NOW!I WOULDN'T THINK ABOUT EATING THERE. The food is terrible! No seasoning, food always looks old. The only thing that's good there is the smoothies (which went up tremendously). I suggest that you spend your hard earned money elsewhere

Im going to make my reviews short and to the point..okWanted some pig feet. A friend suggested this place.Ordered the pig feet, string beans and "cheesy" corn.Pig feet - Nice size but BLAND, they were not cooked with any seasoning...String Beans - BLAND"Cheesy" Corn - Good taste but the corn was over cooked and kind of hard.So there...my review...is just based on this meal.

I'm good. Today I went in with my family. This was our 3rd visit and we will not be going back. 1st I noticed that they are reusing gloves. Putting them in their pants pocket and then putting them back on when they serve people's food and they are only using one glove at that. Then today I ordered a steak quesadilla. Hell no. They used steakum meat in the quesadilla. Not even real steak and they don't serve sour cream. Tried to give me a spicy nacho cheese sauce.. Then to top it off they royally screwed up my son's order. He didn't get his two sides after they took well over 20 minutes to prepare our food. I definitely won't be returning there. Would of been better off going to outback and getting takeout.

Something about this place doesn't sit right with me. This is the second time I've come to get my food and someone told me to wait for my food in the back near the entrance. People wait for their food near the register at most if not all places. Mind you this place is hugeeee. It doesn't make sense for me to wait by the door for my food, yards away while the place is empty. Well now I'm super interested in why they don't want people to see what's going on during closing time (both times I've come during closing). I'm standing here now watching the employees wrap the old food that didn't get sold today in the most unsanitary way. No gloves, no covers on food, nothing, and they're putting leftovers straight in the fridge without properly covering. The food they're serving already looks old, and I can't believe they're going to try to serve it again tomorrow. This place is rude and they need a lesson with SafeServ.
