The food is great! It comes out in a decent time, and the is prepared well. The guac is good. The veggie tacos are nice, but could use a little more filling to keep it hearty. The juices/mocktails are so good, and def worth getting and trying out! The outside space is nice, and there's enough space there so a small gathering for sure when it's nice out.

I have zero idea why this place doesn't have more good reviews. But alas the people reviewing probably enjoy Plaza Mexico or La Tolteca. We sat at the bar, we were promptly greeted and our cocktails were made and delivered. Very good, little pricey but noticed they are using top shelf liquors which if fine by me, less of a headache in the morning. The bar is spacious, with tables surrounding. They also have TV's if you want to catch a game. We started with Toms tamale, you know when you put food in your mouth and just smile and giggly because it's so good? Yep, that is what happened. Then we queso fundido with steak, think up scale queso, the addition of fresh onions, tomatoes and jalapeño were excellent. We both ordered the Pozole verde, think Mexican pho, I literally licked the bowl! So good, spicy with fresh ingredients. I could go back daily for just the soup. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I also ordered the street tacos, carnitas. These were perfect, flavorful, fresh ingredients used, yet again, everything a street taco is supposed to be. Why no pics, well that is entirely my fault. My fat girl was awake and loving every single bite last night. We will most definitely be back.

DISCLAIMER: The rating given reflects ONLY the items mentioned. Spicy Guacamole - 1,000,000/10 It's the best guac I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. I'm being forced to share the news because I would prefer to gatekeep! Please try but don't make them sell out.House Salsa - 9/10 The other salsas in the salsa trio appetizer were skippable [bland]. But if you're looking for an epic flavor combo mix the house salsa with the guac.Fries - 10/10 No Notes! They also have great cocktails and sangria; tasty and moderate in strength. I strongly recommend making the visit *specifically* for drinks and apps.

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest and decided to go on Cinco de Mayo. I couldn't even get in the parking lot! So I tried again today. I'm so glad I went! The food was so delicious! We ordered taquitos, chimichangas, and quesadillas. Not one complaint to be found! The drinks made me want to ask the bartender to just keep them coming! But I know my limit LOL. The service was good, as the staff was friendly and pleasant. The restaurant itself is beautiful and offers a nice ambiance. Will I return? ABSOLUTELY!!!

I've been wanting to try this place since it opened. As we sat down, we were give a bowl of chips and salsa. They were a great start!! Crispy, salty, and warm. My kids loved them and we did too. Win win!My wife and I ordered margaritas (regular and strawberry). Very good!We went as a family for dinner. They have a limited kids menu (3-4 options), but it was enough that each of my kids could order something. The prices for the main dishes were pricey, so we opted for getting a few appetizers and making a meal out of it. Guacamole was incredible! Super fresh and great portion. We asked for it spicy and loved the extra kick. We also ordered taquitos and they were fine...nothing to rave about but good. We also ordered the queso fundido with chorizo and that was amazing! Super cheesy and they come with flour tortillas to eat them with. The highlight of our meal was the tamale. Excellently seasoned! It's unlike the usual corn tamales. It's cooked in a plantain husk, so it gives it a great flavor! 10 out of work recommend the tamale!!!!I will say that when I saw the bill, I was a bit surprised. Total was about $108 (with tax and tip). So the food was great but can't say I'll be a regular with that price point. Service was excellent too!

We've visited 3 times now. Our favorite lunch spot, but also great for dinner! We moved here from California and this is the closest to California style Mexican food that we have found since moving to the East Coast. Vegetarian tacos are good, but I wish there were more options for vegetarians (like potato tacos). The salsa trip and drinks are good too. We haven't had a bad experience with any of the food. The servers and hosts have all been friendly. They have a huge patio area, can't wait to try it once the weather warms up.

We stopped by Sol Oaxaca on a week night and the place wasn't to crowded, we were seated right away. The place is very open, with lots of seating, including an outdoor area in the back with umbrellas for shade. They had a great happy hour special, however we missed it, but will have to come back and check it out. We ordered some cocktails and they came out fast. We ordered appetizers and they came out fast. They do not have complimentary chips and salsa here but didn't realize it until the entrees came out, otherwise we would've ordered them as well. Overall the food was good, this would be a great spot for happy hour with friends, they offer a lot of different types of margaritas and snack and shareable bites.

My husband and I along with his parents decided to give this place a try after we got back from vacation. We went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and the restaurant was relatively empty. We were seated quickly and were given the Sunday brunch menu which I wasn't expecting. The ambiance in the restaurant was very nice and cozy. I decided to get the steak nachos partially since I don't like Beans and it wasn't listed on the menu. To my surprise, the nachos came with a lot of beans (black beans and refried beans). I did end up eating most of the nachos trying to scrape off as much of the beans as possible, but it was disappointing. My husband pointed out this inconsistency on the menu and recommended fixing it. I'll definitely give this place another try, but I would recommend asking if a dish had an ingredient that you do not want even if its not listed on the menu.

Best Mexican food in the area. Went for lunch and tacos al pastor were very good. Chips were served with salsa, a green sauce and an interesting sweeter sauce. All appeared to be house made and were good to excellent. Sauce with the tacos was exceptional. Service was prompt and properly attentive without being an interruption. I will be back again and again.

This place was fantastic! Great food, lovely staff, nice feeling to the restaurant! We had Camarones Asados (shrimp with garlic and aioli), Stuffed Avocado (with crab meat and corn esquites), Papas Don Gil (like potato nachos), and Grilled Fish Tacos (Mahi-Mahi). I would order every thing again. And the Oaxaca Old Fashioned has ruined me for all other Old Fashioneds. This place is wonderful!
