ramen and noodles, food
This Ruben sandwich with seasoned fries was pretty delicious. Highly recommended.
Nostalgic arcade games.
The store is very attractively organized.
Neat little shop with a sprinkle of holiday cheer.
Convenient store with wonderful food options
All kinds of snacks...no prices, though. The white stickers you see here are for inventory purposes.
This price tag and the menu board were the only things that had prices. Everything else was a mystery.
All kinds of coffee drinks, milks & juices. The one little nitro drink in the corner on the second shelf was $5.99, though.
There are tables for you to enjoy your food. Live bait fridge in the corner!
Drinks I've never seen before. They have everything!

Easily one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a long time! The meat was seasoned perfectly and there was so much cheese. Fried onions were cooked perfectly and the bread held up nicely without getting soggy. The French fries were ok, nothing special but not terrible. The cheesesteak will definitely make me come back. I also heard they have great breakfast sandwiches and I can't wait to try one!

Soooooda Pop Shop!!!! I cannot believe how long I've deprived visiting this place! I've lived in this area for over 15 years and never stepped foot in SPS. Writing a review for a place almost immediately after visiting, usually means it's going to be a good review! What FINALLY caught my eye was the LED lit sign off the corner that highlighted the daily specials. 'Rueben with free fries" is what it said. Funny how I had a craving for that particular sandwich for the last couple of days! It was meant to be. Lol!The shop is pretty much a convenience store with a restaurant & mini seafood market included! It was fairly quiet, but also buzzing with regulars. They have your normal corner store accouterments- lottery tickets, cigarettes, snacks, sandwiches and a pretty impressive array of various soda pop flavors! I bought two cokes ($4 for two 20 oz. was a decent deal!). I decided upon a mango juice. The can just stood out to me and I had to get it! More on that in a bit. The cashier/owner was super warm and nice. I wasn't sure if it was her son on the grill, but he was also nice. As they started on my sandwich, I grabbed my drinks. Even with three people in front of me, the line admittedly moved a bit slow. It wasn't enough to deter me, though! My sandwich arrived to the front counter at the same time as it was my turn to pay. I live nearby, so I wasn't worried about my food being cold. I have to admit that this was one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've had in a long time. The rye was perfectly buttered and the meat was just enough. The sauerkraut was the perfect touch! The fries were nice and crispy. Everything was very delicious...so delicious that I went back two days later!UPDATE: I didn't finish the review from my first visit, and I'm glad I didn't. Unfortunately, after my second trip, I probably won't be returning anytime soon. This trip brought my rating from a 5 down to a two. When I arrived, it was way busier than before. The owner and the same young man were both on the grill. No one was on the register, so the lady/owner had to continuously switch back and forth from the grill to the register. There were people waiting to be rung up and people waiting for food. It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least. I gave the woman my order (Ruben sandwich w/ fries & a shrimp salad sandwich) and she told me it would be a while because of all of the orders that were before mine. That was fine with me because it gave me an opportunity to look around the store. I probably was waiting for about 25-30 minutes. If I was a person that was in a time crunch, this would've been really frustrating. As I walked around, I noticed that there were no prices on ANYTHING...except the menu board and one 2 for $4 price tag in one of the refrigerators. Everything else- juices, coffee drinks, snacks, canned goods- NOTHING had a price. Which led me to believe that the owners could make up any price they wanted...and unfortunately, that's what they did. I bought a can of Starbucks nitro energy drink. It didn't have a price, but I assumed it was about 3 or four bucks. When I saw the woman ring it up, it was $5.99!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I asked her to take it off my bill, but I changed my mind and bought it (crazy, right), because I needed a drink to keep me up on my hour drive to work and didn't plan on going to another store. It seemed like she felt bad for the exorbitantly expensive drink, but I said "What the hey", because I knew I wouldn't be coming back. Side note: When I got home I looked up the price for one can of that drink on Amazon and it was less than two dollars. I honestly should've asked for my receipt, but I didn't. A Rueben sandwich with fries, a shrimp salad sandwich (no fries), three drinks and a pack of cookies came to OVER FORTY BUCKS! I was kinda blown away, but I also had a bit of empathy for the owner. Apparently, they cannot afford more help and the prices are astronomically high. I'm really glad I tried it out, though. The food really is good, BUT, I think I'm going to use my $40 for a few days worth of groceries as opposed to one day's worth of food. Sorry, Soda Pop shop. You had me at day one and lost me at day two.

Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware!) Bought crabmeat here on a Thursday and went to use it on a Saturday. It was bad! There was no expiration date on the package. I have always been able to buy seafood at a variety of food stores and if it was bad, they honored the sale & either exchanged it or gave me a refund. Not this place. They refused to refund or exchange. Just wanted to argue with me about it. So my only recourse is to share this experience. There is a sign that says "all seafood sales are final", so if you are a gambler, go ahead and take the risk of buying their seafood.

This was a quick stop for a few drinks and all the things needed for a long road trip. But however when we got inside there was a breakfast buffet , and whole menu option so of course we had to check it out. I got an western omelette platter. It was so yummy and really well priced for the amount of food you get. My husband got a traditional breakfast platter 2 eggs any style, scrapple home fries and toast. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.

I don't even want to give ONE star. I purchased a # of md lump crabmeat there yesterday for $37.99. It was NOT lump and it was so full of shells that we could not eat it. I went in this morning to ask if they would exchange it and the store owner said no!!! What a dishonorable deplorable person. I will NEVER go into that dirty dump again.
