Good food Sour beef and dumplings special with rice pudding was good Service was good also.I thought the ribs looked dry, but my guest loved them!

We met our son and grand-children at Silver Spring to celebrate our son's 50th birthday. We had a made a reservation and they gave us a choice of tables when we arrived, which I really appreciated. We chose a round table close to the fireplace. It was a great choice - very quiet. Our son ordered the Ahi Tuna Appetizer Special, which was a generous portion of sesame-crusted tuna with two sauces. The sauces were Cusabi and Sriracha - both very spicy. For his main course, he had the Sizzlin' Steak Fajitas, which came to the table smoking - they were served with shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, Cheddar Jack cheese, and warm tortillas. His only complaint was that the tortillas were too small. Our grandson started with the fresh garden salad of mixed greens with cucumber, tomato and croutons with blue cheese dressing. He went all out and tried the Crisfield Burger Blackened that was topped with shrimp, crabmeat, grilled ham, Cheddar Jack cheese, and tiger sauce. It was enormous, and he devoured it all.My husband and my grand-daughter had the all-natural Black Angus Silver Spring Burger, one with gorgonzola cheese and one with American cheese. The burgers came with French fries and a pickle. They were very pleased with their burgers. I had the 1/2 portion of Sour Beef and Dumplings, but I requested a second dumpling in place of the Cole slaw. I have ordered the 1/2 portion at the other Silver Spring Mining Company location and got considerably more beef than I received this time. The flavor was very good. I was disappointed that the restaurant did nothing to help us celebrate our son's 50th birthday even though we told them when we made the reservation, and we told our server as well. Would have been nice to have offered him something!

Service was good , apps were ok , but I ordered honey bourbon ribs & they were literally ribs with yellow mustard , absolutely disgusting ! We waited for our food for quite a bit but understandable as there was a staff issue that's not a big deal to me but I didn't even wanna send the food back and have to wait longer so I had my server get me bbq sauce and sit and wipe the ribs as clean as I could with napkins . Still didn't mask the overwhelming mustard taste . If you go here do not order the honey bourbon , it is in fact NOT honey bourbon . Probably my first and last time there . But again staff was great ! Just food didn't live up to the price point

Silver Spring Mining Co. had a rather empty business for the time of day we went in, about 5:30pm and my mother and I had the restaurant to ourselves for the most part. I always get the crab pretzel, so I already knew what I wanted; and my mother got a type of burger (I don't remember). Crab Pretzel was soft, not over cooked, and very on the spot well done with the crab meat and cheese and the pretzel because I have had some before with not enough crab meat, too much cheese, and burnt pretzel. My mother said her burger was done just right as well with very juicy flavor, just rightly cooked for how well done she wanted it, and she wouldn't change a thing for how she asked for her burger done. We also had our drinks changed a few times at just the right time as well.

Great experience at 6 PM on a Thursday. Greeted by a friendly hostess immediately and led to a table that made sense for us with young children, without having to ask! Quickly greeted by a professional server, Brian. Throughout the entire visit, he was appropriately attentive, never annoyed (did I mention i had my kids with me?)We initially ordered 2 kids meals and a soup. I was double impressed with the expo delivered my soup because it was ready first. Having hot food hot is an phenomenal experience and should be recognized. Our entree salad and wings came out as expected. Brian was attentive and anticipated our needs before we did! We also ordered food to-go which was well packaged for travel.This was a top-notch experience in restaurant saturated Bel Air.

My family of 4 went to Silver Spring Mining Co on a Sat afternoon for an early dinner. The dining area was mostly empty. the server took our drink order and it took one drink ordered from the bar 20 min to get. We had to ask for our appetizers of a crab pretzel which came out burnt and soup twice in 15-20 min and got it in 30 min! Our dinners came out in about 35-40 min and were terrible!! The 2 Reuben sandwiches were burnt dried up bread, dried up meat, hardly no sauce or sauerkraut. We could not eat them! My husband ordered sour beef and dumpling along with a side of Cole slaw and got no Cole slaw and 2 dumplings.The young lady that served it had a real attitude when questioned about the error in the order. The chicken fajitas came out without chicken which took another 15 min to come out. My daughter in law had to sit and watch us eat staring at a plate of shredded cheese, lettuce and two little cups of condiments! The chicken was cold and tough along with cool greasy fried onions! She could not eat it! We all complained and the server said they were busy! We complained to the manager who said he would adjust our bill. He credited me less than the cost of one sandwich! We wasted $98 on inedible junk!

Our waitress was Sue. She was awesome. Never let our drink get dry, very polite, courteous service.Food was excellent. I got a crabcake, and my husband loves their sour beef and dumplings. My sister got a club sandwich. All of us were very very happy. Even my broccoli was cooked to perfection and my iced tea was great unsweetened. Highly highly recommend

The crab pretzel is A++. The rest of the food was so-so. The softshell crab sandwich seemed very uninspired. I likely will not be back.

Food was good and the service was great.Great place if you like that sports bar feel.

Closest tasting Sauerbeef to my Grandmom's family recipe and we love it. Comfortable atmosphere, great waitress, and great food. Who can't like it?
