Food here is always great, and service is always top notch. The music is also pretty good. Coffee is just right.Great place for brunch.

This place was so wonderful! I was blown away by the entire experience. It has a very unassuming cafe vibe but the food is amazing and elevated for sure! Also the drinks were to die for! I really got way more than I bargained for here. My favorite thing was the chorizo fries. The service was also great. Would come here for brunch anytime.

Came for Sunday brunch with reservations through Yelp (seamless). Food was excellent and the service even more so. I had the omelette from the brunch special menu and it was delicious.

The Silver Queen Cafe is a quaint hidden gem. Reservations are best since there aren't many tables but what is there is clean and well decorated. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about the drink specials and menu options. We ordered the caramel apple French toast and the shrimp and grits. The French toast was light, fluffy, and full of warming spices. The sweetness of the cooked apples was an excellent compliment to the spices within the sausage. The shrimp and grits came with a variety of flavors. The vinegary bite of the greens with the smooth grits and well seasoned shrimp made for a delectable bite. The strawberry lemonade was fresh and a welcome palate cleanser. Im excited to return to try more of the menu.

I recently tried brunch at Silver Queen Café in Baltimore and had a mixed experience. I had the shrimp and grits and sampled the biscuits and gravy. The dishes were undoubtedly flavorful, but I found that all the flavors tended to blend together, making it difficult to distinguish the individual ingredients. While I appreciate the effort to create a rich and savory dish, the greens were a bit much for me in the shrimp and grits.The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely return and try other items. Overall, my brunch experience was enjoyable! I'm hopeful that my next visit will be even more memorable.

Cool local restaurant that's very welcoming. I enjoyed my visit to the Silver Queen. Parking can be a a hassle because only street parking is available and there are multiple other businesses on Harford Rd. I was able to park just about a half block away and had to cross the street to get to the restaurant. This might be an issue for families as crossing busy Harford Rd outside or the crosswalks can be dangerous. Upon entering we were greeted and quickly seated without having a reservation. The space is small but doesn't necessarily feel small. Especially from our seats in the back of the restaurant. The menu had some really good options although not a lot of options for tweens (I have a 10 and 12 year old) and that can be challenging. My son chose a pork chop. He really enjoyed it and had plenty left over to enjoy the next day. My daughter has a cheeseburger, my wife meatballs and a salad. I had the fried chicken sandwich. They all enjoyed there meals. I thought the fried chicken sandwich was delicious! Its in the running for my favorite fried chicken sandwich. I will definitely be back to endulge in another. I. Also had the eye renewal as a drink and it was good too.

So, this was my second time visiting this establishment and this time we were able to sit in and eat. Best decision ever! Such an upgrade from my last experience which was solely carryout due to the pandemic. The inside of Silver Queen is quaint. The floral wallpaper feature wall was my favorite. They also have a cute little bar in the back with a huge selection. The bar may be small but the drinks are mighty. Everyone working was very attentive and friendly. They seemed to have such nice personalities. Every dish coming out of the kitchen was freshly prepared and could be customized (within reason and for an upcharge) to your liking. The food does not sit in a window waiting for your server to come get it. It goes from preparation to plate to table. No waiting necessary so the food comes out piping hot. We ordered the Lemon Rosemary Fizz with Tequila and Cider Sangria for drinks, Disco Duck Fries for an app, and the Five Cheese Pizza and Burger for our mains. The Disco Duck Fries *chef's kiss* they were the perfect balance of richness, crisp, salt, and comfort. It could be a well balanced meal in itself-a for sure, must try! The pizza, too, was amazing. The dough was fresh. Like hand stretched and tossed in the back. The blend of cheeses was perfect for an epic cheese pull. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her burger with a side of garlic fries. Oh, and it was FRESH garlic on those fries. None of that garlic powder nonsense. Based on today's experience, I'll absolutely be back. What I love and appreciate is the seasonal and weekly changing of the Silver Queen menu. So you'll always have options and never get bored. I also love that everything is freshly prepared and made in-house-from the syrups used in drinks to the food presented in front of you. This place is amazing, don't say I didn't warn you. The food and service was excellent. We dined there many times and the food always satisfy us with great options. The Pork Chop and Fried Oyster Benedict were perfect breakfast meals for me. Everything was pretty delicious and they have nice food portions. The quality was so incredible. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and truly fresh food. Great experience and outstanding place.
