We started off with Old Bay Chicken Wings as an appetizer. They were perfect and not over seasoned. They used a lot of Old Bay seasoning and salt on our dinner entrees. My spouse got Chicken Quesadilla, and there was Old Bay poured all over his rice, certainly didn't make sense. He didn't eat his rice another dish thrown out. Then I had ordered the 2 Crab Cakes broiled, Crab Mac & Cheese and fries. The cook, had Old Bay in the Crab Cake mixture, then they had poured Old Bay all over the top both Crab Cakes. 1st crab cake was good except for the Old Bay, which I tried pulling off but was impossible. It didn't contain a lot of breading! Seriously they need to consider cutting back on it. Let the customers put extra Old Bay on their meals if they want it. The 2nd Crab Cakes despite having had lots of Old Bay too and lots of breading mixture too. I wasn't impressed the least. The Mac & Cheese clearly came out of a box, there was real no cheddar cheese added, yet again Old Bay all over the top of the crab meat, only are part of the Mac & Cheese. Then I tried the fries, ended up leaving them uneaten, the cook heavily poured salt all over the French Fries. Otherwise they would had been good without so much salt. Our meals cost us $80 plus additional money for tip. The waitress was filling in for their friend on New Year's eve. She was kind, we tipped her, but we definitely won't be back.

Westminster's Main Street has recently become a hub for dining, and one of the new spots that piqued our interest was the Serra Restaurant & Bar on 32 West Main Street. The spacious dining area and the extensive menu only added to our excitement about this new dining experience. Our server appeared promptly, bringing my water and my wife's Samuel Adams draft, but unfortunately, this was the last we saw of attentive service. We waited for what felt like an eternity--about 27 minutes--before our food finally arrived. During this wait, we had to request napkins, which turned out to be flimsy and inadequate, and no utensils were given to us. The server never returned to check on us or see if we needed anything else.By the time we finished eating, we had been in the restaurant for nearly 45 minutes, and then waited an additional 15 minutes for the check. Eventually, I went to the bar to track down our server and finally got the bill. Had the option to pay through the Toast app not been available, we might have waited even longer.Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations. The "house fried" chips seemed to be commercial chips tossed in a fryer and tasted stale. My wife's Chipotle Turkey Melt lacked the promised chipotle flavor, and chopped onion overpowered my Serra's ICC wrap, while flavorful.Given the poor service and underwhelming food, there are too many other options in Westminster for us to consider returning anytime soon.

Pluses: location, service, menu options Negatives: food quality! MD crab soup served barely lukewarm to 2; requested hot and received microwaved portions back. CA turkey sandwich came as described but was missing flavor. Even the fries were lackluster. Our party of 5 agreed no hurry to return in the future. The server did her job in taking orders and follow up, but I never saw a smile or any emotion. Praying for you!
