The food always comes out fresh, the service is wonderful and it is a family style ambiance. Meaning it is family friendly. They have a good selection of foods to order too!

A solid Korean restaurant in the Ellicott City. Especially loved their fried chicken which had the perfect level of crisp.

We came for dinner on a super hot Saturday evening. Hubby and I shared a tteokbokki with cheese and an order of the Korean wings. The winner is the wings. The sauce was delicious but I was surprised that it barely had any heat. The server had confirmed we wanted Korean sauce not soy / garlic (presumably since we are pasty white people) and maybe they profiled us and toned it down, because "Korean sauce" is usually significantly hotter due to the gochujang. (Yes, I'm white, but I cook *a lot* of Korean food.) I'd call theirs "Maryland spicy" - which means not really, but the locals who didn't grow up sucking on jalapenos probably think it is. But, the flavor was excellent despite the minimal gochujang so I'd order it again. The tteokbokki I probably wouldn't order here again. It wasn't bad but I've had much better. The cheese they use was a bit odd and didn't melt so it was very stringy. Again, almost no heat to the sauce. Seeing as how many Korean restaurants are in this area and that most of the other patrons were Asian the lack of heat was really surprising. The rice cake itself was good as was the fish cake, it's just that the sauce was uninspired and the cheese not melty.Prices were very reasonable. We're willing to give them another shot sometime when we're hungry enough for BBQ and to have more wings.

Come for the good soju, stay for the fried chicken wings! Their wings are a hit; they're nice and crackly on the outside, juicy AF on the inside. I got their special Korean sauce and another sauce on my order. Both were so good I was licking my fingers and needed to clean them off. The staff is nice, place is well kept. Their sushi is ok; there are other better places for it, but their wings are FIRE.

The food was phenomenal!!! I will definitely dine here the next time I'm in town. We had so many different dishes and each was delicious. Service was very attentive. Plenty of seating options. The ambiance is minimal but you come here for the quality of food.

Best Korean fried chicken hands down in the Howard County area. So good! Good fast service. It's a very small cozy mom and pop restaurant. The ambiance isn't the prettiest. But the food is hands down bomb. This is our second time getting fried chicken all the sauces are amazing. The chicken is so fresh and crispy. We been a few times. Never a disappointment with food or service.

Been here twice for carry-out. By the time I got home an hour later, the fried chicken wasn't what it was when freshly made. The seafood pancake was still amazing. I went back for their sashimi. At $29 after tax, it wasn't cheap but, man, they didn't cut corners. I asked for extra wasabi and they delivered. I could have asked for a tad more pickled ginger though. They packed an ice bag so that the sashimi would stay cool in a ling car ride in 95F degrees heat. Oh, boy! I was in heaven! They need to open a shop near where I live!

This hole in the wall located in Ellicott City is owned by the cutest couple. They used to own the restaurant across the street many many years ago. This place is open in the evening, perfect for people getting off work and get filled with good food and spirits. Space is a bit on the cozy side, so seating can be a little hard if it's busy. The haedupbap is still the same - tasty, fresh and abundant in ingredients. Banchan has a homey feel. Not pictured is the fried chicken with the Korean sauce (yangyeom) and soy garlic. The chicken didn't have an overwhelming amount of breading and the sauce was just right. Prices were fair for the amount of food you get.

A hole in the wall gem. All handmade banchan is good, not too vinegary, right amount of spice that you can taste the ingredients. Service is fast. Food came out right away. Budae jjigae is so creamy delicious. Its addictive. My comfort food. Their mackerel sizzling on the grill pan is yummy. The bossam is not as fatty as other restaurants. I have to control myself because everything is so good. My husband has to order big Terra to perfectly complement their food.
