Senor Chile - Kent Island

Delicious Mexican Brunch. My spouse had the Huevos Rancheros, and I got the Desayuno Tipico. The authentic flavors brought us back to our time at Lackland AFB. I loved the bright and colorful decor and blown glass light fixtures, but the food and service were definitely the stars.

Food- very good authentic Mexican.- huge portions- Great margaritasService- quick service for drinks and food- easy to pay at the table Ambiance- dia de los Muertos theme is nice- lots of energy in the place- bar area a bit tight but still fun place to drink and/or dine

The food was pretty good. I had shrimp tacos. We got the guacamole dip and it did not have that fresh taste for sure and needed more flavor. The drinks were good. I don't know whether they were running out of rice that day, but we literally got a tablespoon on our plates with our meals. We were told by the waitress that she was going to be able to separate the check by each of the couples and then she threw it on the table and said let me know how much each of you want to pay. So that ended the meal on a sour note. Dividing it into three ways, sometimes works, but in this case, there was a wide difference of how much people ordered. Had nice ambiance and food came out quickly.

Very nice dining area pierced to be very clean pleasant staff the food's very good. We didn't have any drinks so I can't comment on those portions are large. The guacamole was $16 but it was quite a bit of guacamole. I asked for some jalapeño peppers, and they charged me three dollars for a little cup which I kind of thought was ridiculous considering that we had ordered practically everything on the menu. I'll know better next time not to.

Atmosphere is fun. Food is delicious. Drinks are great. Service is amazing. Highly recommend. Been twice. Both times were awesome

Food is ok and taste the same at other Latin food restaurants that my family and I have been to. The ambience is OK. The service seems to be OK. Had to wait for our drinks to get refilled. This place will charge you to take home salsa for left over chips. Other place we have been to does not and will fill up the chips and salsa to take home with no charge.

I recently had door dash deliver from here. I ordered tacos, a tamale, queso, and guacamole. The tamale was absolutely tasteless, the tacos were awful too. The guacamole, priced at 18+, did not deliver at all. The only redeeming food item was the queso. My total bill was over $70 and I will not be spending my money at this place again. El Jefe gets my vote of confidence. Terrible tasteless Mexican food. Tasteless should never be a word one has to use to describe Mexican food. I wish the restaurant would refund my money.

We came in with low expectations (mainly since we don't love the other Mexican restaurant on KI) and happily loved everything. It's rare that on Kent island you can find great vegan and meat options - all three of us would (and will!) come again. Everyone who worked there was super nice and we had an overall great experience.

The food is good mostly I've had items I really like and some items are so so. The service is the main reason I went with a 4 stars. I feel the service team could be more welcoming and attentive. The interior is decorated with these cool paintings and lights. However, the main dining area floor feels slippery. Mind your step!

I liked the tamale - that was good as well as the mole sauce on my enchilada. The taquitos were really dry - the chicken. I particularly liked the cheese sauce.I think the take-away server could be more patient and helpful. That would make picking up food easier.
