Sometimes the best places to go are the ones that are discreet and tucked away. I've passed this spot multiple times by my house and never thought to go here until the other day when I was pumping gas. The person working in the gas station said it was really good and so I gave it a shot. The food truck is very unassuming, but the service was great. The woman who took my order was really kind and answered all of my questions about the menu. She said the pork was similar to al pastor as opposed to carnitas, so I decided to try that because I love that combination of sweet and heat. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which wasn't a big deal, but it's worth noting as there's no real place to sit down or wait aside from your car. When I got home, I was shocked when I opened the container and saw just how much food they gave. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned. The hot sauces they gave me, a roja and a verde, packed a punch. But the burrito... oh my goodness... so flavorful. The pork was juicy and tender and melted in your mouth with minimal chew. The pico de gallo tasted fresh and it helped cut through the fattiness and richness of the pork. The rice and beans were typical rice and beans, nothing to write home about, but everything was really balanced. My only real note was the juices were overflowing so I had to resort to eating with a knife and fork. Also, while I loved that they toasted the burrito on the outside, it gave me store bought vibes; if they used freshly made tortillas, this would be incredible. Not enough to knock it down to 4 stars from 5, but something worth knowing for future visits. I am really excited to try their street tacos and tortas after this!

I've Found My Happy Place (and it's a Taco Truck in a Gas Station Parking Lot)Rating: 6/5 stars (because 5 just isn't enough)I never thought I'd say this about a gas station parking lot, but... I've found my happy place! Senior Sombrero, the unassuming Mexican food truck tucked away in the Sunuco parking lot, has stolen my heart (and my stomach's allegiance).Their tacos? Life-changing. Like, I-just-got-engaged-to-a-taco-and-I'm-planning-a-taco-themed-wedding life-changing. The tortillas are so soft, they'll make you wonder if they're made of clouds and unicorn tears. And the fillings? Forget about it! The carne asada is so tender, it'll make you cry (tears of joy, obvi). I've been known to drive 30 minutes out of my way just for a fix (don't judge me). I can not believe this is a 2 minute walk from my desk ... And let's not forget the service! The staff is so friendly, you'll feel like you're part of the familia. They'll hook you up with extra napkins, extra salsa, and extra love (because, let's be real, that's what we're all really here for).In conclusion, if you haven't tried Senior Sombrero yet, what are you even doing with your life? Get thee to the Sunuco parking lot and prepare for a flavor explosion that'll leave you feeling like a fiesta in your mouth!P.S. If you see me there, don't be surprised if I'm wearing a 'Tacos for Life' t-shirt and a sombrero. It's a thing.

Very friendly. Food is excellent. We've only tried burritos and rice&bean sides but keep coming back. Salsas are excellent also.

Had the Al Pastor, Asada, and Chorizo tacos. Really really good! Every taco was packed and everything seasoned and cooked perfectly. Good tortillas as well. Very nice people, good service, will definitely be back soon.
