Went here with my wife this past Friday night for the first time. The food, service and atmosphere were 10/10. Oysters were all fantastic, and the spicy tuna tartare was the best we've ever had - anywhere. Salmon and NY Strip were cooked perfectly and this is one of the only spots with potato pave in this area, which was awesome. It's a little pricier than most places but you get what you pay for; I'd gladly spend more knowing I'm getting some of the best food in Annapolis.I'd highly recommend this place to anyone and will be back soon for sure!

11/27/2024 was our second evening at Sea Salt. My wife was up to visit her parents the week before and choose Sea Salt Vs Carpaccio. Her father and brother are Acadamy graduates and locals. Her first meal was Gnocchi and she was thrilled with the dish. I drove up from Chevy Chase 11/27/2024 to meet her at Sea Salt but was running late, I had her order appetizers and dinner, I'd meet at Sea Salt for a beer before going to officer's club. Well on my drive from home DC to Annapolis my wife called to give me the heads up that Sea Salt only carries craft beers, well I live in a snob area. I'm so over the let's be cool and only serve craft beers and putting out the excuse that were supporting local and small business....BS You won't tarnish your epic image by having one of any of the following beers Casa Modelo, Becks, Fosters, Red stripe. Give the other 70 % of the world a break from the craft pushers. I'll never step foot inside with your current beer menu. Back to the food from 11/27 when I showed up my wife wouldn't eat at Sea Salt her appetizers were horrendous, She ordered stone crab and it had many flaws. We eat at Joes Crab on 15th st in DC once a month, pretty in tune to Stone crab. They were not cracked well, and I've never in a day been served cocktail sauce with Stone crab. That's hilarious and were is the chef on this one!!! Maybe Dijion and mayo like the rest of the world. She ordered the Caesar salad, the croutons were chewy and soggy. As you can see in the picture it was terribly bland, and so dry. She said the bar scene area rolled over the dining individuals. I picked her up and we fortunately got dinnerat Lownes' Steakhouse and a regular beer. I understand that Sea Salt is a new Establishment, hopefully they focus a bit more. Don't see consistency at this juncture. 3.

The food was good not great. Service was excellent but the atmosphere was very loud. We split an appetizer and my wife only had a salad, I had a seafood dish and we had a bottle of wine. Bread is $10 extra so we didn't get any. With a tip it was over $150. Carpaccio's next store has better food, better prices and larger portions.

I've been dying to try this place since they first opened. I finally got a chance tonight. Front of the house staff were very personable. We had a 7:15 reservation and they were running behind. The manager (owner?) Colin came out and personally explained the delay and offered to seat us in the bar area at a high top. I normally would have declined, but I was starved and took a chance. Definitely glad I did. Bertie was our server. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to offer suggestions and answered any questions we had. He was very attentive throughout, but not annoyingly so. We ordered two starters, marinated octopus and oysters guanciale...both were absolutely delicious! We were off to a great start. For our mains I got the ribeye medium rare. Came out the perfect temperature! Flavor wise, just ok. It was paired with potatoes and a few root vegetables. It also had a chimichurri on the side. Not a fan. It was on the sweet side. I definitely prefer a more savory sauce. It wasn't bad, but I probably will go a different route next time. In all fairness I did order a steak at a place that's very heavy on the seafood. I got an extra side of the pan roasted mushrooms...total chef kiss! I could legit eat that every single day. He got the shrimp. It was made with savoy cabbage, fennel, Meyer lemon and Pernod. Not a fan. Not so sure that shrimp and cabbage are the best combo, at least not for us. The only real criticism, is that this place is exceptionally loud. Like a bar type loud. I'm guessing it's just the acoustics of the dining area coupled with a very busy Saturday night. Not sure what can be done about it, but don't come here expecting to have an intimate conversation over dinner. All in all I really enjoyed Seasalt and will absolutely be back.

Unfortunately after waiting years to open, it did not live up to the long awaited hype. The ambiance was too noisy, even seated away from the bar. But most importantly. The oysters did not taste fresh, something we can immediately identify as Annapolis has many oyster shops. Turns out our assumption was correct as someone from our group proceeded to have food poisoning that very night. I wish I could say it would be fine for a happy hour, but if you can't get good raw oysters, it's not worth the time.

The two stars are for service, which was impeccable. However, the food was basic and underwhelming. And why is there a $10 charge for bread and butter?! Also, once the restaurant fills up it becomes very loud and hard to hear.

Amazing food! Every dish executed perfectly. Restaurant just opened and was told it was a limited menu, can't wait to see how they expand their food and cocktails. Managers were very hands on and sure service will improve as time goes on.

Let me start off the review with the fact that my husband and I are huge foodies. We are from nyc and in Annapolis on holiday. We are bar people and decided to give it a try. From the service, to the drinks (The drinks!!!!) to the incredible food- Annapolis is Lucky to have sea salt as a new addition to the food scene. Jeff - the head bartender, is a freaking gem. He's so knowledgeable and makes an incredible martini. Casie recommended the perfect things to order and brought everything out at the perfect time. Honestly, we loved our entire experience and CANT WAIT to come back. This is a special place.

The food is amazing, the staff is so friendly -- ask for Caden, he's the BEST!! Definitely stop by if you like seafood. Our group ordered the oysters, tuna, ceviche, salads, salty bread, salmon and more. Everything was delicious. We will be back!
