Sea Breeze Restaurant & Crab House

If you are looking for good seafood at a reasonable price, this is not your place. This is a dive bar that masquerades as a restaurant. I'm sure if you drink enough before you eat, then anything will taste good and that's what this place is counting on. I've eaten here before and had the steamed crabs which are actually very good when prices are reasonable. Every thing else is just bad food. Tonight I had a fried seafood platter. Horrible. Greasy and flavorless. Tiny pieces of breaded clams that were supposed to be strips. One undercooked scallop. Three over cooked shrimp. Pieces of something I think was supposed to be an oyster. Crab balls that are an insult to Maryland crab. The cook should be embarrassed to let this leave his or her kitchen and call it food. And at $30, way overpriced for the poor quality. Service was slow. The place is dirty. I really cannot see how this place stays in business except it's a bar on the water and drunk people make poor decisions on where to spend their money. Eat here at your own risk.

Had dinner here on Friday with son and new daughter in law while visiting from out of state. Opted for 2 platters; a dozen crabs and the shrimp/crab legs/fry/hush puppies. Each were specials for the day. The amount of food for 4 of us was perfect! We never had crabs before like this so we were a little worried that we would flub but we gave it the college try and we nailed it! The crabs were so good and even though the crabs were a bit of work, half of the adventure is the work! For us newbies, it's going to be hard to find something as good as this.Tina was our waitress and she was so accommodating to us. I hope we see her next time we are there!

If you arrive 15 minutes or later to their published close time, don't expect to be served. You can drive 45 minutes to eat dinner and get there and be turned away because the kitchen staff closes to orders prior to their published closed times. Either the owners don't want to pay for the staff to close the kitchen later or the staff isn't interested in earning more by staying later to clean and close. Who knows, but I was more than frustrated and hungry.

This place is the perfect Maryland crab house. I have been to Sea Breeze several times and I have never been disappointed. The crab and oysters are awesome. I moved from Maryland in 1979. I know love in Wisconsin so when I come back to visit my sister, I always make it a point to go to Sea Breeze to eat those tasty blues I so miss. This is the place that all the locals go. During the summer they open up the tiki bar outside. They regularly have live band that rock the place. This year I attended the Halloween costume party and contest. It was a blast and the band rocked.

This is one of my favorite seafood places! It has amazing soft shell crab sandwiches. I always get hush puppies with my order! Highly recommended!

Not a lot of healthy options here. The cream of crab soup didn't have very much crab and the softshell crab sandwhich had way too much breading. Decent food with a great view, but for the price I'd go elsewhere. Great view from the crab deck though.

very nasty food they have a mold problem and the bathrooms are just not of this world i would not go here

My husband & I went here a while back. The waitress did not seat us for at least 5-10 minutes & there were no other customers waiting & the place was pretty empty. We finally got someone's attention & we were seated. The food is just ok, I probably won't go back. The waitresses acted like they wanted to be home or somewhere else. Food was dropped off a plate & never picked up - could have caused a fall for sure. Restroom needs work!

Horrible food at very high price this restaurant serves. Eating today plain scallops, baked potato and stale salad at cost of $26 on plastic plate left bad taste of eating such food for very long time. It was embarrassment when I asked for knife. Young service lady told me all knifes are taken.Some costumers eat crabs and drink beer, they do not care what they eat there...messy floor does not faze them either. This place should be closed if they plan to continue serving such garbage food.

I felt very disrespected at this establishment tonight I have been going here for quiet some time and some if my family members order all you can eat one of my family members gave me a crab leg off their all you can eat and one woman that works there named Diane was very rude she walked up to us and said you cant share because he didn't order that in the middle of our dinner while looking at me and made me feel bad she was very rude and nasty about the situation so I recommended never coming to this establishment
