Savory Deli and Market

If you are not familiar with Savory, do not pass this store again without stopping in.From the road, it seems like a simple grab and go shop in Fallston. However, behind those doors lies a world of luxury foods that will have you opening your eyes and your wallet immediately. We just recently moved to the area and I have spent large sums of money in Savory. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. Their sandwiches are amazing. They're prepared dinners are amazing. And they carry nightingale ice cream sandwiches. And yeah, I bought an entire sleeve of those ice cream bars!!!So, if you have made it this far in reading my rant, please stop in and check them out. They are the great secret of Fallston!

Went in today to grab lunch for the Raven's game. Boom Boom shrimp wrap with LTO, fries and a cheeseburger panini with bacon, extra cheese, fried onions and mayo. The burger came home with LTO, 1 piece of bacon , NO extra cheese, and BOOM BOOM SAUCE. WTH? Is the staff that overwhelmed by pumping out orders that they can't take the time to read the order? And to be charged $1 for fried onions is ridiculous. $12.99 for the panini, $1.50 for the bacon, and $1.00 for fried onions. So $15.50 for an inedible sandwich. So disappointing! $50 spent for a subpar, disappointing lunch.To top it off the kid behind the register (who isn't more than 16) selling cigarettes.

Our go to place for a fast meal Always waited on quickly and with a smile. Seating is outside so no place to eat inside. So I cannot comment on ambiance since we always take our food to go.

This small hole in the wall serves some great subs. We tried the cheesesteak and Italian subs. Both filled with an abundance of meats and cheeses the prices are about what is expected of great subs. Will go back again and again even though we live 45 minutes away

The prepared food here is spot on every single time. Consistently good experiences keep us coming back for more. Keep up the good work, Savory Deli! We love you.

Best corner store around. They have all the classic snacks and drinks, with some local baked treats, and the whole deli counter is always spot-on. Cheesesteaks, Buffalo chicken wrap, and cold-cuts are my usuals here.

Today was my first day visiting. I acknowledged that I was new and needed some help making my decisions. The gentleman behind the counter was wonderful and helped without frustration. Sadly, the woman that handled the cash register was not helpful nor courteous. She was occupied on her phone when I walked up, so I acknowledged myself to get her attention. I asked for a fork and she reluctantly waived saying "over there". I didn't see the dispenser came backed and asked for direction................again she waived and said, "over there". Just as I was contemplating leaving my deli purchases on the counter, I went back to the gentleman behind the counter and he helped me. Perhaps, the gentleman behind the counter should provide some customer service training to the cashier.

All in all, food is pretty good! However, you can't have an item on your menu called "Andy's BIG DIPPER"! Include all the basic items for a French dip (beef, cheese, onion, horseradish sauce panini), then not include an Au Jus for dipping. And have everyone in the store looking at you like you're crazy for inquiring about the Au Jus. JS. ‍

Not sure of they taste there food but absolutely disgusting. I had more mayo on my sandwich then I had steak. The chicken salad was so tuff I couldn't eat it. 3rd time and food sucks! Everything looks old. Mix the food before you put it in containers. It looks like you want to give the dry top of the food away only. Get rid of the veins in your shrimp. It's disgusting when you bite into shrimp and the sand and poop mix in your mouth. For the prices it should be better quality

Food not consistent, owner is rude and very nasty he will never get my money again.......Breakfast Sandwiches were cold and soggy and went back thinking he just had a bad day but same rudeness.
