Cute neighborhood business. Seemed pretty busy, the wait to order and receive the food was longer than expected. Nice Sauv Blanc while we waited, sandwich well prepared.

Closest thing to NYC. Small stop on Main Street and it's worth the wait. Don't go if you're thinking this is a fast pace grab and go operation. They take their time and it's worth it. Favorite is the Toscana.

Customer service - 5 out of 5Wait time - 5 out of 5Cleanliness - 4.5 out of 5Atmosphere - 5 out of 5Food quality - 4.0 out of 5I've never been to Savona so decided to try it out today. We arrived on a Saturday around 3:30pm. On Saturdays they close at 4pm, there were a few customers eating inside and outside. Also customers were coming in to pick on orders. I was greeted immediately with a smile upon entering. Staff was very friendly and even gave me recommendations upon request. I was told that The Toscana was popular so I went with that. I waited for no more than 5 minutes before my name was called out for my panini, which I was taking to go. Interior and exterior was clean. A table here and there needed to be wiped down after customers left, but overall everything appeared to be well maintained. I did enjoy the atmosphere. Music played lightly in the background. I did like the decor and the display of the wine bottles available for purchase. The Toscana had a really good flavor. Slightly dryer than my preference, but I enjoyed the fresh ingredients and every bite was consistent. The vinaigrette dressing was tasty. Note, the panini does not come with chips. With a score of 22.5 stars out of 25, I give this restaurant an A- rating. When I return, I would like to try the Italian Wrap

Our friends had been telling us how good the sandwiches were at Savona, so we decided to meet there for lunch. This is a true Italian delicatessen selling everything Italian, including wine. We enjoyed "The Lomdardia Panini," which was rare roast beef, asiago cheese, red onion, and tomato with horseradish mayonnaise - "The Cran-Turkey Panini," which was oven roasted turkey breast, and lettuce with cranberry sauce. - The Smoked Turkey Special Panini, which was smoked turkey, fontina cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise - all served warm. Our friend had the "Antipasto Salad," which was strange as there was no real greens in it - just salami and cheeses, olives, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, marinated mushrooms and pepperoncini. The salami was quite spicy! Because this is a delicatessen, seating is very limited. Some high-top tables, some countertop seating, and about four 2 top tables. Unfortunately, the chairs were super uncomfortable. Another odd thing is that while they have cups for the drinks, they do not have ice. They sell sodas, etc. in cans and bottles. At least, they were reasonably cold. We all enjoyed our lunches.

A smaller and charming Italian deli/restaurant with a wine shop and small grocery section with mostly Italian fare. You have in and outdoor seating & I saw a lunch/daily special sign. I decided to go with the Liguria. A good mix of Prosciutto, Capi, provolone and veggies. The Pesto Mayo balanced it out nicely.Service was friendly and courteous. Will be back to try some of the other sandwiches, salads & the Charcuterie board. Great to have this spot in downtown Bel Air.

Thought long and hard about writing a review....I wanted to like this deli more, but I can't. It's in a great location on Main Street in Bel Air, but to me, it's just an overpriced Italian deli with mediocre help. I ordered my go-to deli order: turkey, pepperoni, lettuce, onions, mayo and hots (I know it may sound strange). The bread was nothing special, actually a little hard; and nothing jumped out to me saying "I'm so glad I just paid $20 for this sandwich".You live, and you learn! First and last time for me.

I absolutely love Savona, what an amazing vibe when you walk in. Very high quality meats and products. Grab a cheese board and drink a few bottles of wine. What lovely owners , they pick wonderful college students to work during their breaks. What a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work
