My fiancé is Guyanese, so this place has been on our "to eat" list since we found out about it a few months ago.What we had:*OXTAIL STEW DINNER w/ RICE + PEAS*JERK GRILLED SALMON DINNER w/JASMINE RICE + FRIED CABBAGE*FRIED PLANTAINS (side)Everything was made to order, so there was a wait. I was the only customer there at the time, so it wasn't too bad -- 15-20 minutes, tops. My order was piping hot, so I didn't mind at all.Pricier than I expected, but it was good. I'm fairly new to eating Caribbean food and don't have much to compare it to restaurant-wise, so these prices might be standard. I'll be back soon to check out some of the other items and hopefully catch the lunch special.**There's also an event space next door for hosting and catering functions.__I eat. @f.huxI thrift. @DCthriftish

This place is slow with food orders. You could wait almost an hour for food that supposedly cooked already idky. But they do get the oxtail right. Their portions could be more also!

The Embassy of Guyana had SaPoDilla's cater their open house event, so that endorsement up front was a great sign! I ordered the chicken curry with roti and it was so delicious and filling. Excited to visit the restaurant in person!

Still a 5:5. Still don't get the jerk and roti is Guyanese. Just warning allah yuh who know Trinidadian buss up shut is the only kind to eat lol. The curry goat is delish. Not too fatty, not too chewy, seasoned to and falling off of de bone. The kids get the chicken roti a lot. It's boneless and they love that. The cabbage here has SUGAR. Don't ask me why. I will never understand it. If you don't want sugar in the veggies go for the spinach, it's always on point. I wish they had callaloo but I prefer it trino style WITHOUT crab so I'm sure to be disappointed either way ... My husband got a vegetable roti and didn't finish it. I told him the roti look thick and chewy and he didn't listen lol. His fault. Chef can burn but Trinidadian curry and roti all day except goat for me! Also chef hooked me up for my son's birthday with some brown stew chicken since I got too busy to cook and the kids admitted it was almost as good as mine. (This is high praise indeed). Anywho good food, the customer service is always sketchy but that's okay lol. We love the food and the restaurant side is usually empty so nice for our large family to eat together as we usually do!

I have been to this restaurant twice within a month which is unusual for me. The first time I ordered the oxalis stew and jerked chicken; and on Friday, 1/20/23 i got curry goats just like my first orders; the flavors were deep, rich, not quite like the Jamaican flavors I remembered but closed and very delicious. The restaurant owners are Ghanaian and Jamaican so the flavors melted together beautifully and deliciously balanced. I got a spinach patty and curry boneless chicken: the patty filling was delicious but the dough was not flaky as the Jamaican's patty. And the curry chicken; the spices did not penetrate the meat which did not leave a deep rich lingering flavors and the chicken was dried. However, the cabbages, rice and peas were perfectly seasoned. I will definitely go back for the oxalis, jerked chicken; curry goats: hands down the best in the areas!

Great food to be in a food court, really worth the price too! Make sure to they the bi bim bap & galbi.

Customer service was horrendous and insulting. I was truly shocked and offended by comments made to me pertaining to a personal that I still hold dear to my heart. I hope their business crumbles.
