Looking for breakfast
They don't sell breakfast, but they made up a few breakfast menu items especially for me for 7 dollars!
Inside is nice
a menu for a restaurant
Queso pupusas ($2.25 each)
a view of the inside of a restaurant
Half chicken ($10.75)
Chicken Sub with Plantains

Peruvian-style chicken. Divey but aren't the good places usu. that? Prices reasonable and portions are good. They speak little English so it may help to have a Spanish-speaker in your party.CHICKEN SUB - $8.50Needed something small so we shared a sub between two people - portion was just right for us. Breaded chicken, iceberg lettuce, tomato, melted cheese and bun - sandwich press and grilled. I thought it was ok but everyone else really liked it. Also comes with one side - I got the plantains which were very good (but I don't think I've ever had bad plantains either lol), and portion was good too. Also tried the fries but they were disappointing b/c I had seen the fries next to the cashier and they looked like they had been sitting there for a while - they tasted like it too, and it didn't help that they had no seasoning at all. My brother-in-law said the sandwich changed from the last time he was there ... Part of the language barrier came up when ordering tap water, extra plates/forks/cups. The server did keep pointing to the bottled water but I told her we wanted tap water, I saw agua, did some hand motions and she brought a pitcher of water. I thought we had progress but then not until later noticed she charged for 3 bottles of water. Oh well. No hurry to come back but I'd probably want to try the chicken platters next time.FYI parking lot is metered.

This was a great new spot in Silver Spring. I'm not sure how new they are, but I've never seen them until I found myself waiting for my car to get serviced down the street. They provided me with off menu items for my breakfast and everything was amazing. I will definitely come back for more.

This place has tasty rotisserie chicken for good prices. It also has Peruvian and Mexican dishes as well as pupusas from El Salvador. You can get salads, subs and more. Lots of variety here. You can look up their menu online and also they offer delivery through the main restaurant delivery services.Just make sure you either pay the meter if you park out front or find your way to the lot on the side. We got a ticket here. -_-

Chicken & Yellow rice dry and old. Papas a la huancaina was ok, it wasn't tasty! The house drinks like Horchata & Tamarindo was extremely sweet!! Way too much sugar!!Overall the food was mediocre not great!!The chicken would taste better if it was well seasoned! The owners should consider going to Super Chicken in the city of Falls Church in Va and taste their chicken.. it's amazingly good! Well seasoned and delicious!! Will I try it again? Maybe if I'm in the area!

An unappreciated gem in Silver Spring, but I'm biased because I'm Peruvian and it's my favorite kind of food. I do like that they give you a yellow sauce in addition to the regular pink and green. Their pollo saltado is sit-down worthy, and they also have the traditional peruvian rice, unlike Don Pollo. One thing that is annoying is the parking situation, it's virtually non-existent, so best to get to-go if possible. However, the inside is fairly new, clean, and bright colors with a TV that makes you feel welcome to eat in if you have time to sit down to enjoy your meal.

Pretty solid pollo a la brasa, based on one visit, and surprisingly decent black beans. I was sceptical when I walked in and didn't smell that mixture of smoke and cooking chicken fat coming from the place, but nonetheless, this place makes some very respectable Peruvian chicken. I wouldn't put it ahead of Pollo Rico or CHicken Rico, but it's certainly better that C&J and most of the other pollo places around here.

Ordered delivery from Santo Pollo on Grub Hub tonight. They did not include two of our sides, so I called Santo Pollo to resolve the issue. The guy on the phone said that he would give me the sides next time I ordered from there, which, in my opinion, isn't sufficient. We paid for the food to eat now, and I'm not giving you future business to "earn" the food I paid for tonight. He then said that he would check to see if the Grub Hub driver would bring the missing food. I didn't hear from him for almost an hour, so I called them back and asked for a refund. The guy hung up on me. This place sucks at customer service. They either need to make the orders right, or they need to figure out a process as to how to fairly comp customers who deal with their mistakes. At this point, I'm never ordering from them again.

Terrible!, I was so disappointed, I asked for 1/2 broiled chicken and it was served cold, stale. One of my side orders was black beans and they were also cold and stale. The dining room is also dirty and smelly. Definitely never coming back!, not worth my money.

I liked it! I thought the restaurant only had roast chicken (the famous Peruvian "Pollo a la Brasa") and I was thankful that the menu is much more rich in terms of variety. There are other Peruvian staples such as Ceviche and Lomo or Pollo Saltado (salted beef or chicken), a cornerstone of Peruvian home cooking, as well as the chicken soup that I swear has healing properties (I haven't yet had it here but glad to see it!). They also have the Peruvian alfajores (cookies), which I was also glad to see.In addition they have some Salvadoran items on the menu such as tilapia as well as seafood soup, and offer tacos as well (Mexico).I went with the Pollo Saltado, which was pretty good! I'd get it again. It came with rice and with papas fritas (the huge steak fries). The employees were gracious, welcoming and generous. The cost was reasonable for Peruvian food, which generally is more than Mexican food and around the same price as Thai food.I'm glad that this is not only Pollo a la Brasa restaurant and I am looking forward to going again. It has a warm feel to it, not too formal not too informal, they care about their food, and it's a good place.
