Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any pictures, but all of the food was flavorful and delicious. Our party of 4 arrived at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon, not knowing that they close at 3. The hostess was unsure if she could seat us as the kitchen closes at 2:45, but she talked to the manager and he said it's fine. The restaurant was packed and the noise level was above average, playing various pop indian music. Tables, plates and utensils were clean, but the placemats had curry residue.We quickly sat down and ordered the following dishes, listed in order which we liked the best (but all were enjoyed). All the dishes were flavorful and just the right spice level. Location looks like another take-out joint, but definitely is not; lovely interior, separate bar, decent amount of seating.Food is wonderful and portions are more than ample (had gobi/roasted cauliflower appetizer (that would have been a meal for one) and lamb biryani (brought home more than half.) Staff were pleasant & helpful with item descriptions, got served in normal amount of time.Menu is huge and more than half vegetarian. good stuff.

And in conclusion......We didn't end up eating here. We absolutely will when they get the lighting under control. The place is so bright at night that I had to get sunglasses for us from my car. Even then we left because it was so bright. I've turned to giving 1 star reviews to this so that the management sees the review.Owner, manager, how do you have absolutely no comprehension of ambiance? People want to be comfortable when they go out to dinner, not feel like their eyes are being bombarded with 50k lumins of bright white light. Install a dimmer and use it. You will have more repeat customers. No one wants to eat in a laboratory. Aside from that, when the lighting is so bright you see every spec of dust and dirt. This photo doesn't even do it justice as to how bright it is. My camera lens might actually be damaged from it.

Being a picky eater.. This is the best Indian restaurant you will find around Ellicott city. Mainly if you are from India. This is not tailored for American crowds but stays authentic to its roots. Everything is flavorful and well balanced. Will keep coming here.

Didn't inform ahead of time there is an additional fee for paying with credit card, and wanted the exact amount when offered to pay in cash, didn't return the receipt with the change and upon reviewing the receipt saw they didn't return the correct amount. The food was good and portions are good sized.

The food at Sangam is delicious. I loved their aloo gobi and the butter chicken was also very well done. I tried the dosa but was not a fan of the filling because of personal preference. They do get really busy on weekends and you may need to wait for a table. They're also short staffed so you need to try hard to flag down a server.

Pretty good Indian food we had when we stopped by for lunch. We got their chicken tikka masala, saag paneer and daal. The chicken in the tikka masala was tough so a few pieces were completely inedible. The other dishes were good. They have an extensive menu and the ambience was clean and modern.
