Salsa's Mexican Cafe

Servers are pretty nice, Salsa is okay and the food comes out rather fast. It's my go to Mexican restaurant around here. Definitely the cleanest in myOpinion.

So, minor peeve, nothing to "burn the house down for", but I will do my part to make restaurant service better. As a customer feedback point, maybe, it would be better to just raise the price of menu items instead of breaking with typical services at most food establishments in the area by charging for a lemon. Per the explanation from the one of waiters when asked, lemon prices went up. Hmmm. Imagine Longhorn charging for lemons, or Outback charging for bread. Reading prior reviews here, Salsas even started charging for the chips on the table? Thank God I didn't get that. I take it Lusby is a more well-to-do section of Maryland? So I don't think there is a matter of cost for a consumer in Lusby to be charged like this when eating at a food establishment like Salsas in Lusby. However it may be more of a failed expectation, a misalignment to such consumers. I would say to them it says something about the establishment, something desperate, maybe even a cry for help. My first time there. Was just testing it out. I would suggest, unsolicited, to the owners, instead of charging for lemons and chips (slippery slope says next is water and ice), just raise the price of menu items overall. If the quality of the service is high, and cooks are doing their best to keep the food looking at tasting good, the Lusby demographic I don't think is going to hate.For those that may ask about the meal, how was it? Well it was steamed veggies and shrimp. None of the establishments added seasoning. Nothing Mexican about it. As expected. It was normal. You can't mess that up, right? I was hungry. Starbucks was having a card reader issue. I gave Salsas a shot.

Wow, I hope the Tacos Birria end up on the permanent menu ! Went to Salsa's Saturday night and REALLY enjoyed this special, along with a refreshing margarita. Excellent !!

Salsas is OK Mexican. It's nothing to write home about but we don't have many options down here. The place is usually busy. Chips are good and salsa has the right spice. Meats are mediocre and mostly everything is inconsistent. Tacos are not great.

Salsas never does us wrong! This place has become our comfort food spot! 10/10 service and food

May 2021 update. Although life is still not back to normal we're nearing the end of the pandemic. All the covid rules are still being followed here at salsas. This is still a great place with fast service and tasty food. All of the servers are motivated, friendly and professional. The food orders are never wrong and I'm always happy with whatever I order here. You can dine inside or out.

This place is so disappointing. Food has no flavor and everything is cold. There is no difference between an enchalada, a burrito, or a chimichanga. All are soggy apparitions of what they should have been. Beans had no flavor even with "cheese". Nachos had flavorless ground beef on top of stale chips. Attempted due to school fundraiser. Sorry I did.

Good food, large parking lot. Open great hours. You cannot go wrong with the chips and salsa.

I ordered a taco salad which was supposed to come with some shredded cheese. Didn't come with the shredded cheese I said it's missing may I have it please- Was charged 4.50 extra for a side of queso dip- liquid cheese- Was told because the desser was sent back was taken off the check this queso I didn't order wouldn't be taken off the check, but I never ordered it. Customers shouldn't be charged for something they didn't order, ever. Will be contacting my credit card company to contest that portion of the check and the tip the waiter hovered over me watching me fill out to pressure me. Weird. Won't be back.

Quick, friendly service - and yummy food at a very reasonable price. Kids meals were a good size, too.
