Sakura Japan Sushi Bar

The sushi here was definitely good! I would not say that it is the most fresh sushi that I've ever tasted, but it was really good. There were a lot of people here ordering sushi, so it took about 15 minutes after I placed my order to get the sushi. The soy sauce was around on the side of the front of the counter. The area was kind of messy, as you have to pump your own soy sauce into a container. I think I got some type of combo order where I got 4 different rolls and then had the smoke salmon sashimi . It was ALOT of sashimi (more than what I expected). The rolls were very tiny which is why the entire thing only costed $10. But still it was def a lot for $10! I was satisfied. I would come back and get this when I go to the mall.

The food court was recently redone and it looks fabulous, but there's not many healthy food options. I came here in search of a low fat lunch. The sushi was not the worst ever but nothing to brag about. They use artificial crab which is disgusting. I would not willingly eat here again.Update: I ended up tossing most of the roll that had the fake crab in it as it was chewy and lacked flavor.

great sushi they're located at the Annapolis Mall I recommend it! Just like Yama sushi and Joss cafe sushi just as great!

DONT GET THE NOODLE BOWL, the broth has no taste if you want to get delicious soup I suggest Poke Bowlrrito. Other than everything else on the menu is fine.

Just tried Sushi in a mall for the first time....I hope this place doesn't spoil me...it was great! Fast service, fresh sushi, and great price! Had the Spicy tuna roll and LOVED it!! Also tried the Bento box with Chicken, which was good, but too much food for me to finish and had to come second to the perfect roll!!

Not bad for mall sushi. Actually excellent. Everything was clean and fresh and for two dishes + miso soup, it came to 19.25Sashimi was very fresh as well and all is made right in front of you.

Disgusting, disgusting!! I ordered a deluxe bento box to-go, and when the guy handed me the food, there was a cockroach trying to crawl of my salad. I quickly told the guy and he picked up the food and threw it in the trash can. Instead of apologizing, he went to the other 2 guys, spoke in their native language, and they all started laughing. I went to the cash register and told the cashier and the sushi chef what they were doing is very bad business. Instead of being apologetic, they took it as a joke. I will NEVER return. The worst customer service ever!! I hope they will hear something from the health department soon.

Well...I had tried this chain before at the Culver City Mall in CA and I found it below par. I've had much better sushi at Ralph's the local supermarket. It's actually pretty good. Those of you from SoCal know that Sushi bars are like Starbucks there. But having moved from L.A. I was so excited to see anything sushi that is affordable. Well I thought maybe it's just that one in CA...I was wrong! The sushi bites. My wife and kids tolerate it but, I just can't soil my taste buds with such chum. The Sarku chain really should be embarrassed. I do like their Teriyaki fine and their soba noodle soups are pretty good. So if you have a hankering for Sushi - get something you like or stick with the teriyaki and soup. You'll be glad you did or you'll just be disappointed.

I got the chicken bento box and was immediately disappointed. The chicken was very bland even though it was covered in two doses of whatever the black sauce is behind the counter. I was also charged 50 cents extra for fried rice which was really white rice with two peas and one carrot piece. Even my sushi was unprofessionally put together. The fake lobster hung out of the ends and it was cut into about 1/4 inch slices. I feel the quality has gotten much worse since it first opened and don't get me started on the soy sauce being dispensed out a coffee dispenser #highclass

good stuff at the Annapolis food court. went during lunch time. not sure why it says it located elsewhere on the map but its located in the Annapolis mall! i advise you should go check it out and try it out its good sushi.
