Gary was our server.. great and attentive Mojito was terrific! Food was excellent! I ordered the Sizzling Shrimp. Just as described on the menu. 5 large shrimp, cooked in a white wine sauce, w/fresh tomatoes, garlic and lemon juice. Served in a hot skillet w/avocado & toasted Cuban bread . Delicious

Just passing thru town and I noticed a Cuban restaurant. I took a peek inside, seems like a nice cozy spot so I came the next day for dinner. The restaurant is empty and we have the place to ourselves. The menu has lots of great Cuban staples. I started with the Bistec De Palomilla (Cuban Grilled Steak) and ordered a glass of wine to get the dinner party started. My meal came out pretty quickly. What was a little disappointing was there was more vegetables than meat. It was just an average meal, nothing too exciting. I'm ready to pack it in but waitress mentioned they have a homemade Tres Leche dessert that I must try.I ordered the dessert. Again, just average in my personal opinion. If you like this spot then add a star, I'm just passing through.

Great location, parking is easy with the nearby garages. Lots to see around the area making this a great food stop.Excellent espresso martini, I came a few weeks ago and am still thinking about it! A good balance of sweetness, coffee, and cinnamon.Food was good. The chimichurri steak was our favorite, though that was a special. It came on a sizzling plate and was mouthwateringly good! My partner believed the vaca frita was a little dry and overcooked but was seasoned well. Papa rellena was good but small.Service was good and would check on us often. The environment was also pretty nice for a casual meal, would love to stop by for lunch again if I'm in the area.

Dined here with friends for lunch on a Saturday. Service was friendly but water refills were a bit on the slow side. The food came out in a timely manner and everything was hot and delicious. I'd gladly return!

We got takeout and overall enjoyed the food. The ropa vieja was pretty standard as well as the Maduros. The Cuban sandwich was good too.

We arrived at Sabor de Cuba with a large group and a dog but they were able to accommodate us for outside seating. We were also happy to see that they were able to meet vegetarian and vegan options for friends we were dining with. I tried the camarones enchiladas with fried plantains, rice and beans. My husband tried the cubano sandwich and my son had the picadillo meal with, rice and yuca. Overall I think we all enjoyed our meals, which showcased a different flavor profile in each. Mine was shrimp in tomato sauce with peppers and onions which I enjoyed dipping the plantains into. My son raved about the flavor in the picadillo and the garlic mojo over the yuca.

In Frederick and what some Cuban food? This is the place to go. The host tries to sit you right away but sometimes it can get very busy and you must wait outside. Luckily there are plenty of shops around. The sopa de pollo has a great cooked-at-home flavor. I like to get it as appetizer to share with family. It's a decent portion, good to share with two or three people. The tostones rellenos are delicious too. The ropa vieja was a bit salty for me but with a nice drink, it's fine. Masitas de puerto are my go-to dish. Lively music is always playing and at the end-left of the restaurant you can find more privacy, if needed. I'm not a mojito lover but others at my table enjoyed them. ¡Salud!

If you're craving an authentic Cuban meal but cannot make it to Havana or Miami, look no further as Sabor de Cuba got you covered. Their cubano sandwiches are best this side of the Atlantic and a simple dish of arroz con pollo will get your picky eater all smiling again. Don't skimp on drinks and order pretty much everything. I really liked their Painkiller cocktail. If you still have room for desert, ask for flam or tres leches; both are mouth watering.Their staff are super nice!

Food was tasty I think I'm just used to Mexican being Mexican lol! The pollo a la plancha was super limey and fresh and everything came out fast and super hot! The girls working were super nice and helpful and we had water constantly which we definitely needed bc we came from a hike and were drinking water so fast! Pretty venue it's just a little small so I would expect a wait if you are walking in. The tostones were my fav part so so so yummy and perfect texture! Def try if you're wanting to try Cuban (:
