Too expensive and they dig crabs out of the mud during hibernation. I also think they break one claw off each crab with 2 pincers and they sell them (the claws) separately. This is all conjecture.

Great local low-key flavor but Memorial Day weekend. $95 for 12 xlg crabs. It is my own fault for not asking the measurements. So many crab shacks call extra large, a medium and charge for it. However, it would be nice if they would just be honest and let me know the measurements so if I want to upgrade, I have the choice to upgrade. Adult slushy, isles of quick impulse purchases, yummy counter items. Worth the stop...even if I did naw on crab legs for 30 minutes looking for more meat!

My son said he wanted crabs for his birthday. This will be our first and ONLY visit. The outside is reminiscent of a vintage eastern shore seafood shack. Lots of signs for bait, beer, seafood etc. Inside, it has the feel of an older convenience store... with, what I thought, was a separate 'dining' room. We waited for at least 10 minutes in hope of seeing an employee. Finally, a gentleman came out and I asked if we could dine indoors. He said yes, but took us to a room that looked like someones kichen. Apparently the owner is a big game hunter and proudly displays his photos on the walls. Dont visit if you cant handle seeing smiling photos of dead zebra, moose, elk, bears, etc. Bloody and sad. As it turned out, almost everything (except the crabs)on the menu is FROZEN. To make matters worse, THEY ONLY HAVE A STEAM POT, so... no soft crab sandwiches or anything that cant be steamed. The cant even make a sandwich here! The entire time there was a smell coming from behind our table (wall) that smell like burning plastic. I had to move to the end of the table because it was so strong. My son ordered large male crabs and they were small, light and not well seasoned. My (frozen) steamed shrimp had very little (if any) seasoning and tasted drab...like they were simply BOILED. However, they were a decent size...just not flavorful and again... these are frozen. Cocktail sauce was unavailable unless you purchase a TUB. Tasted like sweet ketchup. No seasoning. Crackers were also additionally priced and available only if you request them. Nothing was offered. Not so much as a glass of water...or a sink to WASH your hands. The waiter/store clerk was polite, but he was S-L-O-W. The female (owner, I'm assuming) was ambivalent from the beginning. Boastful, but definitely didnt deliver. We couldn't have felt more unwelcomed. Our bill came to the tune of 85.00.

Best crabs around! Adult slushies are great too! I'd only get crabs from this place! So many seafood options, crabs, shrimp, clam strips, oysters, cream crab soup, crab dip, clams, mussels, etc. decent prices, compared to other places. Lots of alcohol there. But the food is the best

Ordered Jumbo crabs, got smalls. Demanded a refund. What a bunch of shysters. I feel bad for the other customers unknowingly getting ripped off. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Crab legs and shrimp were steamed to perfection! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Best fresh seafood I've found in the area. Nothing fancy, just a nice small local spot that has a family vibe. Highly recommended, A++Don't sleep on this hidden gem!!!!!

My family and I bought 2 dozen medium crabs last weekend. There really isn't anything good to say about them. I ate about 10 crabs and got maybe 4 or 5 decent ones. All the others were either rotten or water logged. I didn't care for the big game hunting pictures that were hung up around the place. It takes a real "man" to kill a zebra, right?

I ordered a dozen extra large crabs for $95. When I got home they were not extra large. They were small and mediums. Three out of the 12 did not have any meat at all in them very unhappy and very dissatisfied. This is not a way to run a business when a customer orders extra large and gets home and find small and medium, never get them there again

Overpriced underweight crabs. Paid $70 for "xlarge" crabs which were terrible. Don't go here. Much better places within a few miles.
