Their delivery only gave us fries and then never answered the phone at the Bladensburg Road store. They are consistently the worst - never ordering again.

I am giving a 3 Star rating but there's a lot of context I need to add.So, I wanted to take a picture of the John Mercer Langston mural nearby so that's what brought me here. I used to work around this area and was familiar with this establishment in its last iteration as a breakfast, all day spot. Late last year, I think it was they rebranded in a McDowell's sort of way and honestly, I wish they would embrace that a little more. I ordered the same thing I would get at Roaming Rooster, the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich except here, I asked that no mayo nor tomato be added. Here they come with it, a marked difference. Then I sat back, no, I stood back and observed the goings-on.First I questioned why they sell tacos. Not to anywhere there, just to myself. Why not a Big Mick[sic]? Coming 2 America is coming soon. Right after that a gentleman came in and ordered tacos and coffee. :-/Then I thought about how good the Ethiopian food could be here. I would be down to try it, way before I'd buy a taco here but then again I thought, why not go the Mélange route and have Ethiopian spiced chicken sandwiches. Yes I was doing a lot of thinking because I was waiting for a long time. I'd taken my John Mercer Langston picture and thought about menu changes I'd make if I were like Marcus Lemonis, investing nothing but sharing my i.p. for free like this review. The sandwich was actually, surprisingly good. A little on the oily side but much better than I thought and not at all shaped or packaged like Roaming Rooster, a different bird indeed. It's also filling so I would skip the fries because I'm sure they aren't as good as Wings across the street so get a taco if you wish.

Picked up from the food truck location on Hidden Figures Way/E St. The gentleman who served me was incredibly nice, and offered me a free sample of the chicken dressed in the sauce. Both the sauce and the chicken were fantastic, and for the price... it was $8 and easily two meals. Good food, good portions, and good service!

Food was not good, ordered the steak and cheese and mumbo wings, toppings were missing that were in the sandwich description. The mumbo wings are drenched in some type of bbq sauce (not mumbo) and tasted like frozen wings you buy from the grocery store. Would not recommend.

Great spot for quick pickup on almost anything. The food is excellent, can't beat the price, the proportions are large and most importantly the taste is fantastic! I order a lot from this restaurant because it's convenient, well prepared and consistent.

Not to be confused with roaming rooster. This is like a halal spot that's also a carryout. The wings are sooo good. And I'm nearly addicted to the French fries at this point. I decided to switch things up and get a sandwich. O. M. G. Y'all this thing was so good! It's better than getting one from Charley's. The bread is real tasting/feeling and the sauce and toppings are present. It's flavorful and juicy. Yummm so great In Combo with the fries. I'm a fan.

I placed my order today around 2pm. Emailed confirmation of restaurant receiving my order at 2:02pm. 3:43pm, and no communication from restaurant about my order. Called Grubhub. Spoke with customer service and explained my issue. Grubhub rep called the "driver" who blatantly lied - per documentation - that the order was delivered. (Again, my phone #, delivery order instructions - all on my order. No word from the drive or the restaurant ) The Grubhub rep asked the driver about my order and the driver HUNG UP on the Grubhub Rep. The Rep called back and the driver would not answer the phone! This is ghetto business drama at its best! Will never order from this place again! Mind you. I've ordered here before and even gave great reviews! But this time; totally different experience. And it only takes one F**K Up!

They have a pretty good butter chicken sandwich at the restaurant.Definitely deserves a try if your out in the area. A little gem.

Just got a chipotle chicken sandwich with fries from the food truck...and wow. Just wow. The breading on the fried chicken, the chicken itself, chiptole sauce with cole slaw on it...very delicious. Would highly recommend the this sandwich...can't wait to try the other items on the menu!!
