Route 40 Paintball

We played paintball for my 25th birthday with a group of 15 girls. The team was hilarious and educational. They taught us everything we needed to know and lessons on game strategy. We had a blast and couldn't recommend this company more! We had the best time!

Best place in town! The owner is fair on game time and first come first served. Reserve early this is the place to be on this side of the beltway! Ask for Julian he will take care of you. Rain or shine!

I was so looking forward to unloading paint balls on my friends for my birthday! So I was psyched when I head this place was open on Saturday. Since I had a small group, I didn't make reservations...mistake #1.It was super crowded there with lots of kids and teenagers...from the city. There must have been 5 birthday parties there. So I got there at 1300 and ended up leaving at 1500.....with zero paint balls down range or on any of my friends. Mistake # 2 did not check the weather. Gorgeous weather = crowded paint ball field.The field itself was disappointing. I like playing the hoods and taking cover behind rotten tree stumps and hiding in the leaves. No such luck here. It was all man-made obstacles. Which is fun, but you definitely do not get to be one with nature. So I did not get to shoot at all due to poor planning. If I had my own gear, I probably would have been able to get on the field. I do plan on returning...either with reservations or during the weekday. They offer a military discount with a current military ID so I definitely will come back. This place is not easy to spot off the road. Coming from 695 if you see a go cart track and a bunch of sheds, turn right soon. Other than that its not too hard to get to and its very convenient to Baltimore.

Brought my nephews and brothers to enjoy a day of paintball. Turned out great. I haven't played in 10+ years so the gun I have hasn't seen action in that long either. The staff took a lot of time to help me get it up to speed and threw in batteries and an air tank. The fields were nice, and the experience overall was awesome. Recommend this place. Will be back.

Kind of run-down, really muddy, no cammo, no identifying color teams (with bandanas, vest, etc) and the regulars aren't checked to make sure their PSIs are set to a pre-determined level. Really, it's only a good deal if you go with a group of 10+ and don't allow the "regulars" to play with you.

Had a great time here for my first paintball experience last year. They had a bunch of different areas for us to play around in, and they paired our group of four with another group so we could enjoy some lively competition. (Hilarious that our group was at least 10 years older than our teenage competitors, and we still kicked their butts.) Didn't have any trouble with the equipment we rented, but I'd advise anyone going to bring some water and snacks for your paintball breaks because I don't remember their offerings to be very impressive. Parking wasn't a problem. At least one course was out of commission for some reason, though. Also, a lot of their picnic tables were rickety/bordering-on-dangerous, so down time between paintball sessions was less than awesome.

This has got to be the worst establishment known to man! I'm amazed with their unbelievably horrific lack of customer service that they are still in business! I've never in my life been treated so rudely and down right nasty in my life by not one but two employees!! I put a $50 deposit on my child's birthday party in Feb, it snowed and they closed so the party was canceled. I asked for my deposit back and they offered me a T-shirt lol. So basically they stole my money. The end...

I had my sons 13th birthday party here this past Saturday!! The staff was so nice and helpful. The kids had a great time!! Thank you for helping make my sons day so special!
