Ropewalk - Baltimore

Whether you're here on a Saturday night, jamming out to DJ Purple Haze's mix or on a weekday either shooting pool upstairs or playing skeeball, there is always something to do at Ropewalk. The bartenders, Jenn, Hannah, and Shannon, are pretty attentive and get you your drink fast, despite the weekend rush. They have a large selection of beers and liquors at affordable prices. I enjoy coming out here on a chill weekday or to party on a weekend. There is a parking garage nearby, otherwise, you have to rely on limited street parking.

Came here for my best friend's joint bachelor(ette) party with her fiance and their friends. This spot has college bar vibes. It's an amazing spot for a fun night out. She came in her bride gear and a lot of people were super friendly and congratulated her. Ropewalk Tavern is pretty big and there are a lot of fun activities inside. Whether you want to play arcade games, pool, dance, or just drink, you can do it all.The DJ played pretty good music that was fun to dance to. Like most popular going out spots, as the night went on it was harder to hear each other. There is a corner upstairs near the bar where it is quieter. The bartenders here are pretty slammed, but they're pretty fair when approaching people who have been waiting. If you want a bar with college vibes and fun dancing, this is a great spot for it.

WORST service ever. Went on a Saturday to watch football. Bartenders all drunk and high, any simple drink order took 20+ minutes from any of the bartenders, one woman had to come back multiple times because she couldn't remember Tito's and club from the counter to literally turning around to make the drink. The other woman just wanted to complain endlessly about how mean the cook was because he expected her to come pick up food timely from the window instead of walking around flirting. Not sure where the owner is in all of this, but he will be out of business soon enough. There are far too many choices in the area to put up with this nonsense.

I'm a regular here with friends for Sunday fundays on occasion. Mixed crowd with good buzz and no drama - friendly, efficient security. It's a fun local pub w/arcade games and duck bowling. There is a spacious layout of 2 floors. The bathrooms on the first floor need work, but second floor is fine. Their Honey Old Bay wings are great if you need a good bite. Make sure you get Shannon to make your drinks! She's a doll.

I can't say anything about Ropewalk as a restaurant because we went at about 10pm on a Friday, but as a nightclub, it was pretty fun! The decor is definitely ~different~ with lots of random Ronald Reagan memorabilia spread throughout, and other random statues and signs. What I really liked was how big the place was and how there were different vibes throughout, like downstairs people were dancing, and upstairs people were just playing pool or standing around and chatting. Also, I was a big fan of the playlist because it was a lot of Taylor Swift's new album mixed with hits from the early 2010s which was fun!

Had to make an account for this, the DJ absolutely killed it tonight and this bar stepped their light show game up 1000%. It was incredible. Me and my friends will definitely be back if they continue to kill the competition like they did tonight!!!!

The bartender, Tyler, was so kind! He really knows how to make a drink and is super friendly. What a guy! Can't wait to go again!

Saturday night, some dummies running security. Showed them my ID and they refused to let me in, saying my id shouldn't be able to bend. They choose random people and power trip over them. This has happened to a few of my friends in the past who are over 21. They don't know how to do their jobs - hire better security that know how to properly check IDs.

We had my sister's 30th birthday party here and it was an amazing experience. The staff were so kind and helpful to all of us. I lived in Philly for 3 years, but the pretzels here were the best pretzels I've ever had! The games were a highlight of the night, especially the bowling. Would most definitely recommend this place for parties or just a fun night out in Baltimore!

Service at the bar was great minus one bar tender. Bearded bartender was only goofing off and talking with bar back. Played Taylor Swift after Ravens lost AFC Championship to Chiefs... Who does that in Fed Hill?
