The only thing I've ordered since coming here is the crab cake platter and it's so good, not sure when I'll try something else. Some of the best crab cakes I've ever had. Service is fast and friendly. On busy days (Mother's Day, etc.) order ahead to save your wait time. Ordering online is also very convenient here.

TL;DR: Crabcakes is where it's at. Everything else (even the sides were mediocre)My family has been coming here for years now, specifically for their ginormous crab cakes. Note that all the prices have increased steadily over the past few years, but that's inflation for ya. Service was nice and friendly. Had a few delays toward the beginning, but I know it's hard to deal with a table of ~15 people. Getting refills and other items at first, but seemed like she finally got some help, and things went smoother. FOOD: ~Oysters on the half shell (2.5/5): not cold enough and lots of shells~Cream of crab soup (3.5/5): Used to a must order, but this time it was sooo thick. Almost more like a dip than a soup.~2 crab cake platter (4/5): crab cakes are always solid. Lots of crab meat, limited filler (basically just the binder). Really good and huge (~$50)~Rockfish (1/5): This was so bad. Flavorless and overcooked to the point that it was rubbery~Coleslaw (3/5): Basic coleslaw~Rice Pilaf (1/5): not a pilaf. Overcooked and too puffy~Fries (3/5) with gravy (3/5): basic fries and brown gravy (probably McCormick) ~Mashed Potatoes (2/5): So disappointed. I used to always order and love these potatoes, but it was so dense and the temperature seemed off. Flavor was also blandOverall, I'll definitely just stick with the crab cakes.

Amazingly large and delicious crab cakes. No filler. All flavor. Also, excellent service!

Met some work colleagues here for dinner. A definite family style large portions restaurant. My Veal parmigiana entree was excellent I must admit. But the portion was ungodly huge and entirely too much pasta. It was enough to feed 4 people. I could not finish it and as I was traveling out of town, left overs to go was not an option for me. So a lot wasted. The menu itself is too big. Too many items. I love that they have a variety, but the menu is over complicated and cluttered needlessly. That said, the family friendly service really made the evening. Our waitress was so friendly it felt like we were eating at her home. So overall a good experience.

First time ever eating here in the years of visiting Pasadena/Glen Burnie.I didn't believe a crab cake (10oz ) that big could be found in Maryland.The crab was sooooooooo goood I actualy cried and thank Jesus.I could talk all day/night about how good it is here...BOTTOM LINE THIS IS THE PLACE TO EAT

Really great Italian restaurant and pub serving Italian staples and American cuisine for many decades. They have a separate entrance for takeout with parking which prevents lines and congestion. Separate areas for dining as well. You can eat and/or drink in the tavern area which surprisingly seats a good number of people. Or you can eat in the large main dining room. TUESDAY : Shrimp and rib night specials. I've probably had 10 entrees here including the Tuesday specials. All have been great. Service is also great. You can't go wrong here.

We made a phone reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived to the restaurant. They had a good crowd which was a good sign although the tables were cramped. My meal was mussels, a Greek salad and crab legs w/ green beans. Everything came out without having a long wait and the food was delicious. However, the crab legs were a little dry (over cooked) they weren't bad, not the best I've had either but certainly some good, great portion size crab legs. The restaurant isn't hard to find and right off a main road with ample parking. Enjoy!

Trying the pizza for the first time. It's doughy, not a lot of crispness on the crust. The cheese is exquisite.. super melty and a cheese pull on every slice. I got the sausage and mushroom, was very tasty. Would recommend for family pizza night.

This review is just for the crab cake. So I'm originally from Maryland and currently live in Las Vegas, our seafood in the desert is overpriced trash. That being said I'm a crab cake snob born and raised in MD. My friend came to visit and had been raving about these crab cakes for the longest time. She finally bought one and packed it up nicely and gave it to me after her red eye flight into Vegas. I was skeptical at first because I have my favorite go to crab cake place in Edgewater that I've been going to for 20+ years. Upon opening up the nicely packaged crack cake that was perfectly intact after its transport across the country I was amazed at the size, the thing was huge! The size of my hand almost! I heated it up in the microwave then finished it off in the broiler then was eager to sit down and taste this monster crab cake. Let me tell you it was just as delicious as it was pretty!!! Best crab cake I've ever had!!! I will definitely be visiting this restaurant next time I'm in town and would highly recommend their crab cake!!

First time visiting Romanos, the service and crab cakes are very good. The Italian dish's are just okay. It seems to be the restaurant has established a great local following with a great local restaurant atmosphere. We return to get crab cakes and try other items on menu.
