This places rocks, y'all. Come here for the biscuits alone. Add on top of it the great ambiance, the well crafted latte, and the excellent omelette, it was a great brunch all around. The omelette was light and buttery, and the creme fraiche added to the mushrooms nicely. My seasonal (cardamom and cinnamon) latte was well-balanced and flavorful. The smoked salmon, egg, and aioli on the biscuit fit really well together. Somehow the biscuit didn't fall apart when eating it.Staff were friendly throughout our visit.Seriously though, the biscuits were amazing. Can't wait to come back, maybe for dinner next time.

Across the street from Pie Time, and a very different vibe. A millennial hipster's dream. 3/5 service: the best way to describe is blasé. The server seemed annoyed that we were there in general. 5/5 maple caramel latte: not too sweet and really well done 4/5 mushroom omelette, very heavy and the mixed greens were disproportionately large compared to the size if the omelette 5/5 steak and egg melt: nearly the most expensive thing in the menu ($25) but definitely a lot of food and I enjoyed it. The mixed greens are very vinegar-heavy

RIZE + REST CAFE 1st Dual-Concept Resturant in Baltimore, City. This is a really dope concept! Rize meaning breakfast/ brunch 8am- 3pm & Rest meaning you can also get dinner here too 5pm-9pm. I only experienced the Rize part but I would easily come back for dinner. The owner Chef Randall curated a masterpiece! This place is so cutesy, the scenery gives you a nice calm vibe. It's very refreshing and earthly . Make sure you palate is ready to indulge in the endless flavors the menu has to offerDrinks: Aunties Lavendar French 75 , Raspberry Mimosa Appetizer: Warm Cinnamon Monkey Bread.... 10/10Entrees: Smoked Salmon + Avocado Toast & Smoked Salmon Biscuit(the avocado toast so good!! I came back to try the REST menu, and I was extremely impressed with the flavor of everything I ate!The broccoli caesar is a show stopper! The tomato focaccia pizza was so airy and fluffy --- it could have had more cheese on it, but overall I was impressed with the bread more than it being a pizza. The chicken entree had a very distinct and impactful flavor. I just wish there was more of it, especially for the price. To help with the pricing, there is also a happy hour from 5:00-6:30 on their late days. The service was superb. Beyond friendly and helpful. The place is small, but getting there early to secure a spot was helpful. ** I wasnt able to find the menu online. Is there a glitch on the website?**

Popped in after attending a Yelp event here. Wanted to introduce the place to a friend. They were super busy with reservations but there was some room at the bar. We sat for a while and were taking care of. The staff were friendly and attentive. The vibe, as promised was perfect. Great decor and excellent playlist. I can see myself here often. Definitely suggest reservations because this joint is booked and busy

Okay... wow! Astounded... the first time I came, I was bewildered, befuddled even about why my experience wasn't as grand as all of the reviews of my fellow eliters and other friends who had eaten here before. Everyone had marvelous things to say, but I was left with an unsettling taste. Thankfully, the owner reached out and shared with me that as I suspected, it was an off day. He invited me to return, and let's just say, my experience here was INCREDIBLE! My frown turned upside down into a grinning smile!Firstly, the service staff is wonderful. They are attentive and very knowledgeable. Anna is such a joy as well as the bartender. Her drinks are creative, layered in flavor, robust, flavorful, and simply amazing. She's a true mixologist. This time, I got the broccoli Ceasar- delicious! I also got the pork chop. The cut of meat was very high quality... succulent, tender, perfectly delicate and crispy. The sauces, both creamy and sweet, set this pork chop off! It's rather large, so bring an appetite or be ready to have it for lunch tomorrow. The broccoli Ceasar was so good that I darn near licked the plate (see pictures!). They make all sauces in house, and the owner is very engaging and delightful! I will be back and will look forward to bringing my friends!!!!

The place is super cute! The wait staff greeted us immediately and sat us at an open table. I wasn't hungry but wanted to get some tea. This was one of the best London fogs I had in public. The only (only!) critique I had was that the place wasn't well ventilated.

I first came to Rize & Rest for a Yelp Event during the evening and fell in love with the vibes here and knew I had to come back for some breakfast biscuits! The ambiance is so peaceful and fresh with all the flowers and lighting. They truly value quality food and drinks and take their time to make everything taste wonderful. The biscuit was PHENOMENAL. I loved the cardamom latte as well - it warmed up my soul on a chilly morning. The chef and all the servers are so kind and helpful. Overall, what a delightful place in the Highlandtown area.

On my way to my usual coffee spot I thought about Rize and detoured here. Saturday afternoon around 1:30 and they were busy-cozy and would fill up fast. Also, a handful of tables outside. I grabbed one of the non-reserved bar seats-reservations recommended.Ordered a Cappuccino and a couple of the Biscuits to go. While waiting I noticed I was surrounded by Mimosas-what was I doing drinking a Club Soda?! Lady next to me was raving about her Strawberry Mimosa and Smoked Mushroom Omelette-next time!Biscuits were huge and enough for two. Chicken (was not fried and marinated) was delicious with the chili honey and parm cheese taking it over the top! Bacon, Egg biscuit was enjoyed also. Service was friendly and engaged. Cool spot for Breakfast/lunch and Cocktails. As they say on their website "never sacrifice deliciousness.". I see you Rize and we will be back!

So happy to have this full service restaurant and cafe in my neighborhood. The Rize and Rest opening was long-awaited, but surely worth it. The end unit rowhome has been transformed from a grubby corner store into a gorgeous, welcoming restaurant with a cozy ambience. The devil is in the details and R+R got them right. By day, grab your coffee, do a little work and try nana's biscuits-you can't go wrong with the eggs or the chicken. When the evening comes, a cocktail or glass of wine is a lovely start, and my favorite accompaniments are the oyster or broccoli Caesar apps. The focaccia is also delicious! Check out this neighborhood gem-you don't want to miss it!
