Yummy Colombian food in College Park. Great place to get consistent and yummy latin food while at UMD. Got the steak which came with rice, soup, plantains. Super yummy and very filling. Was so full after I ate. Fast service, very content. Restaurant is pretty casual, sit in. Lots of seating available :)Will definitely be back!

I have been coming to this location since they opened. Food is good. Today I brought a friend of mine here for the first time to try the Colombian food we set on the four top table. the owner sent the weight the waiter to tell us to move and then the owner came over and told us to move to two table because he said it might get busy .There are currently 10 empty tables 3 sets of clients in the restaurant so this is absolutely absurd I will not return terrible Service by the owner

Terrific Food. I had the colombian dish and the flavors brought me back to my childhood. Could not recommend enough. Great service too

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. First, you're waiting around for at least 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you, which is already frustrating. When you finally do get help, the staff is incredibly rude--one of them was actually making faces while we were ordering. It's obvious they don't care about customer service or making people feel welcome. On top of that, the whole atmosphere feels unprofessional and uninviting. Definitely not coming back here.

Delicious Colombian cuisine awaits at Ritchie's! Their arepas are truly fantastic and I love their plantains! Such perfection! They have been in business for a few years now and have had great success. There are parking lots and a parking garage nearby to park at then walk to this location overlooking Route 1

Empanadas (carne, pollo): 7/10 the outside is a bit too dry for me but the filling is good.Toston con carne mechada: delicious and flavorful carne mechada. I would get this again

I was meeting with an old friend for lunch, and my go-to spot was opening at 4:00 that day, so I decided to try this spot since I hadn't heard of it and at the time it was fairly new. If you haven't been yet, it's in the strip of restaurants right across the street from Chipotle, &pizza, CVS and all those other places. Being super familiar with the area makes parking way easier. You can do the garage around the corner, which may be free for the first hour, and there are the plethora of campus parking signs... you can park at those for free after 4, or else you'll get ticketed. Back to the restaurant, there's plenty of space to sit at inside. There were some TVs, a chalkboard written entirely in Spanish and all artsy, nice decor, and the service was friendly! After my friend and I reviewed the menu, we decided to share the Bandeja Paisa, which sounded like it would be a lot of food. ...It was a lot of food, and lots of MEAT! I'm not used to having so many meat options in one sitting unless I'm at a BBQ place or something. I'm glad I had a friend to share it with!! Everything was delicious overall -- I will say some of the meats were drier than I prefer, though. The rice, beans and plantain were a hit! There's a lot more to explore on the menu, and I would like to return and try. And I'm a sucker for crepes!

I had high hopes for this establishment. I was utterly disgusted with the food. The Sancocho had a pool of grease at the top and was just a big chunk of beef. It was bland and just horrible. I also got two empanadas which were dry and I was just left in complete awe! Still can't believe how bad the soup was. Go to Los hermanos for sancocho! You won't be disappointed!

Great spot for a quick home cooked meal. Went at lunch time which was busy, so it took a while to get our order taken. Food came out promptly after ordering.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. First, you'll be stuck waiting for 10 minutes just to get any help, and when you finally do, the staff has a horrible attitude. One of the workers was straight-up making faces while we were trying to order, which is just unprofessional and rude. It's clear they don't care about customer service, and it really makes the whole experience awful.
