Well spread tables in a reasonably large space to dine in. The set up looked clean, bright and neat. Service was pleasant. Tried the Carne Asada and fish tacos. The beef in the Carna Asada was tough and rubbery, the fish in the taco was a bit couchy in terms of smell. Not very tasty, but will return to give the Cuban Sub a try.

This restaurant was a hidden gem that my uncle found while he was driving for Uber. It was a good thing that he speaks Spanish, though I had no trouble communicating with the staff in English as well. We ordered the mondongo, a pork tripe stew with yucca, zucchini, corn, and served with tortas and limes and a bean and cheese pupusa, which was served with a delicious orange salsa. We shared everything and really enjoyed it all! The mondongo was perfectly spiced and the tripe was well cleaned and cooked just long enough. My pupusa was one of the best I've ever had and we shared a tamarindo drink that was amazing. The service was perfect and the food took a bit but that's because every thing aside from the bottled drinks are homemade. My uncle is Mexican and lived in Venezuela for a long time and said that everything was very authentic with a Salvadorian twist to what he's used to. Thank you for an amazing lunch!

So grateful to find this spot having landed at BWI for work and ubered to the nearby Holiday Inn, whose lounge and restaurant is sorely lacking. Walked across a gas station and burger king parking lot to this brightly lit (only reason for less than 5-stars) strip mall joint. I may have been the only customer with no spanish but the staff treated me kindly in good english with lovely latin accents. I went for the papusas because they are familiar and they did not dissapoint. next i asked if they did not have plantains and my excellent server replied that although not on the menu, yes they have plantains... also delicious. Even though i was then completely stuffed I couldn't resist trying something new when I saw the baleadas- apparently a Honduran dish that must soon join the papusa in popular world cuisine. Bonus points- no alcohol on the menu but next door is a package store where I bought a six-pack of Maryland beer and brought it back to my table. Amazing!
