Reisterstown Diner

Nice spot for any time of day. The large menu ensures everyone can eat what they want; I got breakfast while my friend got lunch. The coffee was typical diner coffee, pretty good with some cream and sugar. My meal was great, eggs cooked perfectly the way I wanted them and the scrapple was delicious. I was shocked at how good the scrapple was, as someone who lives in Pennsylvania, it was better than most scrapple I've had in my area which is pretty impressive. Waiter was very kind and patient as it took a long time for us to decide on what we wanted as we were yapping a bit catching up. The only cons are its a bit dated and the prices are quite high for a diner. All in all, it's good typical diner food, good service but the prices are slightly above average.

Family owed neighborhood diner. Not a greasy spoon, cleaner and bigger. Service was great. Fast and friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch & diner. Food was A-OK. Like seeing grits on the menu for breakfast. Never heard of scrapple (pork scrapes?). Guess it's a thing.... just not my thing.

I really wanted to give this place five stars! It's in my neighborhood and a small diner. I get take out from here often but this was the first time I physically visited and had an onsite experience. The food was fantastic! I have always had great food here so that is consistent. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak with eggs and hashbrowns. Delicious! Savory! Yum!Our waitress was super friendly and food came quick and the order was just what we asked for so all good there. I checked in on Yelp and saw the free beverage offer so I asked the waitress about it. She had no idea and said she would ask someone and come back. Another person came over and I showed them the app and the offer and the check in but they were also saying they didn't know if they could honor it and went to get the Manager. The Manager came and basically said it was fraud and she didn't know about Yelp or what it was and started telling me that they don't offer any discounts on food and if I order it I pay for it. I explained it was just for a beverage and that it was ok if she didn't want to honor it. She said she would return to our table and needed to check something. Ultimately when we paid for our food at the counter after waiting 10 minutes for her to return, the discount was honored but just poor communication and poor choice of words during the conversation.Waitress was great, the older woman who was the Manager not so much and as she started talking over me getting louder and louder, she even took off her mask and was so close to my face I was uncomfortable because since I was eating I was unmasked. Small parking lot but also easy to park. No alcohol. Restrooms were not filthy but also could have been cleaned more thoroughly. When you enter there is a huge pile of papers and business cards on a table in front of a cork board with the same type of content. Could use a good cleaning, paint job and some redecorating for sure. I may still order carry out/ delivery. Local diners like this struggle to compete with larger restaurants and I love the food. It was so empty in there as in addition to us there were only 3 other tables occupied. I'm going to still support them as they are in my neighborhood but definitely won't visit anymore. Sorry folks ... it's only a 3 this time.

Reisterstown Diner has the best breakfasts in the area. My wife and I go there at least once a week. The food is consistently good and the service is awesome. All the servers have excellent customer service skills. But it isn't just the breakfast that we like. Their lunch and dinner specials are good as well. We will continue to patronize the Diner because the food is good, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is excellent.

Time warp but good food. Waitress was clueless...how do you want your eggs??...on eggs Benedict....but a nice experience

A while back I had mentioned that their matzoh ball soup was the best I'd had in a great while.Sadly, that is no longer the case. Either the cook or the recipe has changed but the result is a mushy, bitter tasting dumpling bearing no resemblance to any matzoh ball.

First and last time. No organization from guess waiting to be seated and checking out. Our food was just not prepared well. My girl had a vegetable omelet that had ham in it...Really! I had eggs and bacon and on my second piece of bacon it had tomato paste....yes, tomato paste under it! What an unpleasant experience!!!

Excellent food with many choices. Friendly and efficient service. Large clean dining room with relaxed atmosphere. Good place to have a meal with family or friends and spend time chatting without being rushed.

They just added a 3% service fee that goes to the owners. What a sleazeball move when you could just change your menu prices.

Second time for breakfast so I'll leave a review. Very good both times. Country fried steak was outstanding, along with french toast, waffle and omelette. Different servers and both were very good. Clean and nice place.
