Great local place, lots of options, Italian dishes, pastas, Mediterranean. The restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly. Great prices and great tasting food. Parking is convenient. Really great place to go for some good easy foods. Tried the ravioli special which was delicious. Overall, pleased with everything. Only thing would be if they could dim the lights a little bit to make it not so bright and more, atmospheric. But that is the only feedback.

Hidden Gem in Wheaton. Went with a few friends after an event we attended. Sitting was quick and staff were friendly. I ordered a French Onion Soup and Spanakopita. The was delicious and flavorful. The spanakopita was ok - no flavor.

Regina's was surprisingly good. A definite throwback and while I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, I really liked what we had. We shared zucchini fritters and the chicken souvlaki platter. Fritters were freshly battered. I think they need more seasoning though. I really enjoyed the chicken, which was flavorful. Salad was good and the fries were golden and crisp. Service was friendly. We were the only ones in the place for most of our Saturday lunch, but others were visiting as we were getting ready to leave. If you are nearby, it's not a bad stop.

We enjoyed our meal at Regina's. Service was great, our food was tasty, and it looked like the restaurant varies their specials. I would definitely return.

This place made me had to come back and tried more food very soon after my first time visit.Regina is a Mediterranean and Italian style restaurant. Their food was amazing as well as service and dining room. I was a little surprised because if you look from outside, the restaurant is quite small and old building, but when you get inside, they have a nice decoration, spacious and good vibe. Also, they have a counter drink bar.As for the menu might not be various as same as other authentic Italian restaurants but I think their food has a good quality and intense taste.Another good thing is there are some free parking lots in front of the restaurant, not many but enough for guests.Whoever wants to try some Italian or Mediterranean food and not sure where to start, yet. Or if you are looking for a restaurant where is peaceful and romantic atmosphere, I recommend Regina's Restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Overall, I thought the food at Regina's was pretty good. I went with a gyro platter, and boy did it come with a lot of food. I do not think that I've ever had so much meat in a gyro platter before. In addition, to the meat, the platter came with a small salad and a side of rice (or french fries). So, it definitely was a pretty good deal for $15. While I had a decent meal, I have to admit that I did feel somewhat uncomfortable when I first arrived. Ok, I arrived in my workout clothes (and was a little sweaty) so maybe I was dressed a bit too causal for the place. However, I arrived about an hour before closing and there were only about 7 folks (between three tables) in the place. The man that greeted me at the front of the restaurant kind of gave me a look like I wasn't supposed to be there. Or rather, he seemed confused with my presence. After I was seated, I definitely noticed the man staring at me from the bar a few times. Do not get me wrong, he was not mean or rude (and maybe I'm making a small mountain out of a molehill), but something about this experience just didn't sit right with me. Weirdness aside, I thought the two waitresses that served me were very friendly.

Regina's is doing something right. On a Saturday evening at 7pm, the place was booming. Energy was high and wine glasses were filled at each table. The parking lot in the front was a little chaotic, but there's also additional parking in the back.We were in search of a Bouillabaisse (fisherman's soup aka cioppino) and I found Regina's on Yelp. As other Yelpers have mentioned, Regina's markets itself as a Mediterranean place, which boils down to Greek and Italian dishes when you look at the menu. I made a reservation online with the Google Assistant and Regina's was ready to seat us when we arrived. We weren't sure if the reservation was necessary, but I decided to make one for our group just in case. When we arrived at 6pm, most of the tables were still available, but the place filled up by 7pm. All of the waiters were still following COVID protocols and were wearing face masks. A bottle of hand-sanitizer was also set out for customers.Warm bread and butter were brought to the table and were generously refilled throughout the night. We started with the fried calamari ($12.95) and stuffed mushrooms ($10.95) as appetizers. Maybe it's just the way the dishes were plated, but I did find the portions to be small for the price. When the fried calamari was brought out, it definitely looked like they had slid around on the plate a bit. The calamari was light and crisp but could've been more tender. They also served the rings only (no legs). The stuffed mushrooms came with four pieces and took on a spanakopita profile featuring mainly spinach and feta in the stuffing. The accompanying lemon sauce is great for dipping the bread into.In addition to the regular menu items, they also had a separate dinner specials menu. I ordered off the specials menu and went with the porcini mushroom ravioli ($20.95), which came with five sunflower-shaped raviolis with a porcini and ricotta filling in a brown Marsala sauce. I really liked my dish. The serving size was just the right amount after having the bread and additional appetizers. The raviolis were cooked to the desired al dente and the filling was the perfect creamy consistency - I would order this dish again. My table also ordered the bouillabaisse ($32), eggplant Parmesan ($18.95), chicken Marsala ($20.95), and penne arabiatta ($16.95). Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the bouillabaisse was noticeably plentiful with its seafood variety - mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, calamari, and fish were all present in the dish. There did seem to be a learning curve with our waiter. We would ask him questions and he would respond with "I have to check" or "Let me ask." He also didn't seem very familiar with the menu when we ordered and needed visual cues, which led to some hiccups with service. But overall, he was kind and attentive throughout the evening. Our water cups were regularly topped-off and he came to check on how things were doing multiple times. We were celebrating a birthday that night and the staff was kind to bring out a sparkler and sing happy birthday with our dessert. They also honored a military discount (10% off) with proof of ID. Thanks to Regina's and their staff for a wonderful dinner.

Ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta and though the scallops were great, the shrimp had a bit of frostbite taste to them and I found plastic in my meal. Surely an accident, but if it's fresh, how did plastic get in it?

We frequented this restaurant quite often and one of the wait staff knew what we like to eat and drink. We were away for a few months and returned to the restaurant with friends. Sadly, it is not what it used to be. The wait staff is all new, the chef was not there (he always came out to look at the diners) and the food was rather poorly prepared. We ordered three trout diners but each with slightly different sides and cooking times. Unfortunately, all three were identical. I don't know whether the fault was with the waitress or the kitchen. Once the food was served, the waitress disappeared . No water refills or inquiries about the food. The trout was dry and tasteless and the sauce did not complement the fish.. an order of spanakopita was also overcooked and dry. The best part of the meal was the bottle of Chianti. Regina was a bright star in Wheaton where good restaurants are rare.

The service was great and the food was delicious. Nice vibe too! It's a nice airy space with Mediterranean decorations. Room for lots of people, but not crowded at all.
