Reds Wine Bar

So this place was recently bought out. Just a few notes: the menu has changed, for the worse IMO-not based on the food flavors, more the choices. The place looks like it changed its model from restaurant to bar food & pizzeria menu. The old place had a chef picking items from the garden and changed its menus daily. I am sad about that. One look at the front page of their menu tells me we are eating from the delivery truck with dressed plates.But keep in mind they are using a different work model which may work better on my wallet.Other points;I also noticed their liquor store is expanding so this may be a welcomed addition/place for them to make their money. They are open on Sunday for takeaways. Finally, nothing has changed as yet about their beers on tap. They offer a good variety of beers, from tap to bottle or can. I am interested to see if the clientele change for the better.?.

Reds was incredible when the original owners were there. They would keep a small menu and food always fresh and made with personal attention. We were weekly loyal customers. Now it's a glorified take out menu attempting to please everyone. First time in I can't remember how long-I had to put my food in my napkin it was so bad. Sad to see the downfall of such a beloved community restaurant.

Stopped back in again for the second time to take our some friends. Unfortunately the disrespectful weather didn't allow for the grill to be open for burgers and salmon, but my friend was still able to get a beyond burger. The place was ready for us, when we said we would be there a little early. And our waiter, Manny (I think he's the only waiter), did his thing again. He brought out a really good mixed drink for my friend, which she really enjoyed. And he bougied up some sprites for my other two friends, which made them feel nice and fancy.I enjoyed my appetizer sampler. I'm not crazy about Pretzles - but this pretzel was fresh and sooooo delicious! Like a soft cloud, I just had to share. The shrimp tempura was also very good. It was a good choice for me. I was pretty comfortable after that, so I got some chicken wings for my main course, with more Thai chili sauce. The wings were really really good, though I'm not a drum stick fan. If I could go back and just have flats I would. But they were finger-licking good. The music from the bar next door wasn't too loud, as I remember last time. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers (got another believer in the Brussels sprouts, the soup was still faithful, and the tater tots made you wanna slap somebody's mama). I appreciate that everything always comes out hot at Reds. No one is getting anything cold unless that's how it's served!Really pretty and chill vibe to the place too. You can dress formal, or be dressy casual, or just plain. You'll never feel like you don't belong there. Just a good place to be. Always enjoy it there.

So glad we decided to stop in here. Good atmosphere and a very nice selection of wine. I prefer wine and my husband prefers beer so I can have my wine which Red's serves and my husband can grab a beer from the bar which is next door but attached to Red's. The owners are onsite and the service we received was great. Definitely will be a new favorite place for us!

Outdoor seating was nice and spacious, the crab cake sandwich was surprisingly good and they brought the food to you. They even checked on us while we were there which was unexpected, but was appreciated.

My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day dinner. We had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and professional and the food was phenomenal. They had a special menu which included soup, entree, and dessert. They also had a great wine selection. Thank you for making our night so special!

This place is terrible. Was good when it first opened but now the food is overcooked, with exception to the burgers. You can't get a burger because the grill is always closed. 7:30 at night with a busy bar next door , and they have the grill shut down. (Red's provides the food to Racers) Also this isn't a one-time thing, it's a regular thing. As in Sat. night's for 6+mo. now, the grill is off.My advice is eat before you go, then go next door to a less pretentious environment. Hopefully they fail soon and sell to someone that will actually sell what's on the menu.

We decided to frequent this bar again because we had such a great experience on July 14. Fast forward.......we visited July 28 and the experience was less than great.The person that was dressed in all black with what seemed to be a chef's uniform was less than welcoming and seemed bothered as soon as we came in the door, her expression was a bit "resting" if you will and we stood at the front for a bit before she huffed her way over. Seemed clear that maybe we were not welcome that night or something. Our waitress was nice for the most part, and of course the food and wine were enjoyable but when we verified the closing time, she said we close once the last person finishes their drink. Well she must have talked to the young lady wearing the chefs uniform and told us that the establishment closes at 10pm, understandable.What I was confused about was around 9:30pm the lights were turned off. Unprofessional. I get that the kitchen closes at a certain time but should the lights be turned off when you have people in your establishment? Unless of course it was a disco and there were strobe lights but that wasn't the case. Not to mention the waitress had not brought the check over yet but the lights go out. We were sitting finishing the last bit of wine and waiting for the check.Her actions were off putting and very unprofessional. What did we do so wrong by coming in getting wine and food. It was 8 of us; is there a limit on party sizes? Was it because we came in at 8:30pm? We came that time the last time and our experience was excellent. You have an establishment in a mostly residential area and it should be expected that you will have people coming in at anytime you are open like most restaurants and bars. It was amazing the difference it was with the owners versus the young lady in the black chef's uniform and if she was considered the manager that was even more horrible. The staff should have the personality that mirrors the owners, who were great. I thought this place would be a bit of an oasis for me where I can come by myself when I just enjoy "me time" with a glass of wine but the young lady really put a damper on something so great. Maybe she was having a bad day but we can't take it to the workplace. I have had bad days when I've gone to work but had to suck it up. Wine was great, food was great, but customer service is very important that's a part of why patrons return. I was hoping to come back.Thank you for your time. Tina

I've been coming here routinely for about a year now. This place is excellent! The menu is always expanding and changing. They have a great wine selection. Plus, the owners and staff are absolutely amazing people! This is the place to go. It always feels like home.

This is our new favorite place! We went at 7 o'clock on a Monday night and it was completely empty. Super cute decorations and friendly knowledgeable staff. They have kegged wine which we ended up trying and loving. We ordered a charcuterie board which I took a picture of and an order of Thai chili wings. I didn't get a picture of the wings because they were so good we devoured them!! Nice sized pour for the price! Will definitely be back to explore more of he menu
