A truly local gem. Nothing but regulars. Just like cheers. Everyone knows everyone! Shawn and Nancy will take amazing care of you! There's always movies and sports playing, they keep the jukebox rolling! Comfy Baltimore themed dive with a big dining room for banquets, brunches, karaoke, dance parties, bands and more! The food is always fresh. Freshly roasted turkey on dishes like "the White Russian" and the prices can't be beat. Lots of drinks for 2-$3!!! There's always food specials friendly faces cold drinks and tasty treats. They also have package goods so you can buy a bottle or a case to take home after last call. They open good and early for the day drinkers, kitchens open til 9pm. Right off of 695 so super easy to get to! I'm gonna eat the whole menu I swear. I haven't seen prices and food quality like this in a LONG TIME! Everyone at the bar is happy, and laughing. They're like a magic Baltimore family of oddballs but the energy and vibe is unparalleled. I know it's a dive, but this place is a rare find, so I put it in the favorites collection. Go to The Raven Inn have a seat, have a snack, have a drink, and have a laugh with the locals.

The perfect description of this spot? West Virginia with a taste of Baltimore mixed in. If you weren't looking for this place you would drive right past it but this is the Honeycomb Hideout Hellcat you're reading from so this sinkhole in the wall is right up my alley. Every time I've come here I've had the pleasure of being the only person of color in the whole bar but after sitting down, ordering a strong drink, food & nodding my head to the country/classic rock playing on the jukebox, we all get along swimmingly! This small little bar also has a dimly lit seating section attached to it, but I've been there about 6 times, driven past there about 80 times, and never seen a soul in there except some drunkard who got lost on his way to the bathroom (bless their blue-collared soul). Drinks are fairly priced...could use some better drink specials but I guess it's not such a bother there since the clientele are locals-be it nearby business employees or neighborhoodies (yes that's my own word but you can borrow it). Food specials are THE BIZZOMB!!! Cheap daily kitchen specials that are pretty tasty for a spot of this magnitude. My fave? The pound of steamed shrimp for $8...I get it with the onions in it!! (If you just screwed your face up you can kindly exit this review as you must not be from Baltimore, please and thanks). I'm told the cheesesteaks are good too and the wings can be great if you get them well done. And for your bar gamblers out there, there's the TV animated horse racing game as well as Keno. I personally like to watch the horse racing game because it plays the Camptown Races song, to which I hums the jingle faithfully...but to myself though, don't want the patrons to get the wrong idea...

I visited on a Tuesday night when the had live music. It was also Shrimp night. There was a small cover charge to get in ($7) which is incredible for all the great music. The bartender is friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, the beer selection is good, what more do you need?!? Best of all it's a place that supports live music and it has a very nice space to play and listen. I only wish there was more places like this.

A blast from the past when you walk into this old folks home. Been there handful of times. Three of which I didn't make it past the threshold, when a mob of grannies and granpas sat down there drinks turned and death starred at me puzzled by my youth.

I went to The Raven Inn last night to purchase carry out beers since there weren't any liquor stores by my house open at the time. We approached the bar and the 2 bartenders working completely ignored us at least 5 times. Yes it was the super bowl and yes it was a little busy, but everyone at the bar had been helped and were seated. I had never been here before so I didn't know if I had to purchase the beer at the bar so I was trying to get help from one of the bartenders. I'm not a "regular" so I got stares from all the patrons which already made me feel uncomfortable then we just kept getting ignored so we left. I will never return to this establishment and learned my lesson, if I need to purchase beer on Sunday's I will just drive a little further to Firehouse where I am always greeted and not made to feel uncomfortable.

I started going every to this bar about 5 months ago Friday night is karaoke. A very warm friendly bar. You can come alone & you will feel like you belong. The prices for food and drinks are exceptionally reasonable and very good. A good diversity of people. This is my go to place every Frida y to relax, let the work week go, chat, sing and laugh. A must go to place. Shawn & Nancy take great care of everyone. The establishment is nothing fancy just a simple bar with a whole lot of fun & happiness. Guys keep up the good work!

Second night in a row. Cheap pitchers, amazing mashed potatoes and gravy, nice people... a real bar and restaurant. Human. Tonight is trivia night, in the other room. Regulars.

Great dive bar if you find yourself in the area after big box shopping and want to grab a drink.Bartenders are old but efficient, and make some of the strongest(&cheapest)drinks I've ever had (specifically, vodka cranberrys, don't be a jerk and order a cosmo or anything). All kinds of ways to gamble inside if that's your thing, this bar is all regulars but they were all as friendly as can be. My buddy ordered a liverwurst sandwich (gross) from here and said it was great, I had a burger and honestly it was great for bar food. Don't come here with high expectations and you'll have a great time.

Super friendly tavern with good food. The chilli is great. Best creamed chip beef in Baltimore. No attitude service.
